1. On January 1, between 12.00-12.30, HPG guerrillas carried out an action with mortars against the Turkish army's soldiers positioned on the Alişer hill in the Oremar region of Gever, Hakkari. The number of dead and injured solders in the action has been unclarified.
2. On January 1, between 23.00 and 01.00 on January 2, the Garê (Tekeli) regiment in Hakkari's Şemzinan district; the Karker hill and its slope, and on January 2, between 04.00-04.30 the Serê Sêve (Işıklı) gendarmerie station in Çelê district, the slopes of the hill of Cehenem in Şemzinan was bombed by the Turkish army with howitzers and mortars.
