Our guerrilla forces, the YBS fighters and the patriotic people and the tribes who do not have any connection with any political parties have jointly developed operation against the increasing attacks of the DAIS gangs in the surrounding area of Solak/Sengal. Thereunder:

 

-          On 28 October, at 19:30 hour, an attack carried out from two different wings against the gangs attacking Sinjar Mountain and surrounding area from Solak. The first wing effectively hit the gangs and as a result 4 of them killed. And, the second wing killed 3 gangs.

 

-          On the night of 28 October, another action carried out against an ammunition vehicle and a position of an air-defence weapon and both have been totally destroyed. As a result of both action, total of 7 gangs killed and 10 others wounded.

 

 

-          This morning, an assassination carried out against gangs in Solak and 1 gang killed.

 

-          This morning also, our forces launched an operation against the DAIS gangs based on the Nerko Mountain and moving in the surrounding area. Our reinforcement also participated to this operation. As a result of the operation, the Nerko Mountain has been cleaned from the gangs and under the complete control of our forces. As a result of this operation, more than 10 gangs killed and many others wounded.

 

As a result of these action, our forces confiscated following materials from the gangs; 1 66 mm Mortar weapon, 1 Karnas type assassination weapon, 3 AK-47, 1 walkie-talkie, 6 bags, many number of ammunition, hand grenades, rockets, howitzer and etc.

 

As a result of these joint actions carried out by our forces, total of 18 gangs killed and 10 others wounded. Yet, possibly the numbers are higher than this.

 

We, both the HPG and the YBS forces, will continue our resistance actively until the freedom of Sengal, and we call everyone to unite in the resistance and freedom of the Sengal.
