1. Within the scope of the Martyr Bedran Gundikremo and Martyr Nalin Muş revolutionary campaign, our forces carried out comprehensive action against the occupying Turkish army in Hakkari's Gever (Yüksekova) district.
On August 22, at around 23:50, a military convoy of the occupying Turkish army heading from Gever district to the centre of Hakkari province was hit by our guerrillas near the village of Şemaşê. The convoy was fired at intensively by our forces and many vehicles in the covoy were hit. In addition, our forces targeted two Kirpi-type armoured vehicles in the convoy. Two vehicles were completely destroyed here.
In this action, 20 enemy soldiers were killed and more than 10 soldiers were wounded.
The occupying Turkish army removed its dead and wounded soldiers from the area with Sikorsky-type helicopters and ambulances. The occupying Turkish army closed the Gever-Hakkari road to traffic until noon and indiscriminately fired at the area with heavy weapons.
2. Within the scope of the Martyr Serdem and Martyr Nudem revolutionary campaign, Our YJA Star guerrillas organized actions against the occupying Turkish army in Şırnak and Van provinces.
On August 22, 22:30, our guerrillas carried out an action against the contras located near the village of Avkamasiya in Şırnak. Two enemy positions were taken under fire from two arms and one contra was identified killed here.
After the action, the occupying forces bombarded the area with howitzers and mortars.
On August 22, at around 18:30, our forces organized an action against the enemy soldiers deployed on the Güzeldere outpost of Van's Başkale district. Three enemy soldiers were killed and two enemy soldiers were wounded in the action where the soldiers gathering in the outpost were taken under fire from two arms.
After the action, the occupying Turkish army bombed the area indiscriminately with howitzers and mortars.
3. On August 20, the occupying Turkish army had launched an operation in the area of the Axula village in the Nordiz area from the Payîzava (Gürpınar) district of Van province. Throughout the operation, the occupying Turkish army which carried out oppression and torture against the locals carrying out plateau work in the area, has wanted to frighten away our people from the region. The operation was withdrawn on the night hours of August 23 without any results.
4. On August 23, the occupying Turkish army launched an operation in the Çiyayê Fıla, Besta Meyremê and Germav areas of Şırnak. The occupying Turkish army which bombed the operation areas withdrew from the area the same night without any results.
5. On August 23, 19.30, warplanes belonging to the occupying Turkish army bombed the Lêlikan zone from the Xakurke area of the Medya Defense Zones.
