TO THE PRESS AND PUBLIC
1-On 18 October in between 13:00-14:00 hours, our guerrillas carried out a road control on the Road of Sirnak-Beytussebap. While our guerrillas controlled the I.D. of 40 vehicles, also inform the people about latest developments. During the action 1 teacher detained for practicing the assimilation policies of the occupier Turkish state army in the region. Yet, the teacher has been released after initial questioning. Also, our guerrillas have burnt and destroyed 2 Transit type vehicles and a Lorry for carrying provisions to the Beytussebap Brigade after the provisions distributed to the people.
In mean while, 8 enemy military vehicles from the Beytussebap Brigade and 2 Panzers from the Ceman Regiment attempted to intervene to the area of action, yet after 1 Mount-Deer type armored military vehicle and 1 Jamer type vehicle destroyed as a result of our guerrillas’ intervention on the way. During the action also 7 enemy soldiers killed, the number of wounded soldiers couldn’t be able to clarify. Aftermath, while enemy forces carried away the corpses of killed and wounded soldiers, the cobra type helicopters intensively bombarded the area.
2-Our guerrillas carried out an action within the scope The Martyrs Sidar and Dicle Revolutionary Operation in the district of Eleskirt/Agri.
On 18 October at 23:30 hour, our guerrillas carried out an action against the Iran-Turkey natural gas pipelines in between the Villages of Sivik and Kurdali, in the district of Eleskirt/Agri, while an enemy military convoy made of 6 Reo type vehicles passing by. The explosion occurred on the pipeline, which was going through under the road and as a result 2 Reo type vehicles completely destroyed and 4 Reo damaged. As a result of the action, total of 38 enemy soldiers killed and 30 others wounded.
Also, the occupier Turkish state army have been deploying soldier and military supplies to the Mnt. Tendurek, with sikorski type helicopters.
3-Our guerrillas carried out an action within the scope of their sovereignty on the areas of the districts of Semdinli, Yuksekova and Cukurca/Hakkari, and the enemy military operations launched in both Semdinli and Cukurca had to pull back.
On 17 October at around 15:00 hour, our guerrillas carried an action on the positions of enemy soldiers at the Bilican Regiment, in the district of Cukurca/Hakkari. All the targets effectively hit by oue guerrillas, where the number of killed and wounded enemy soldiers couldn’t be clarify.
The military operations launched by the Turkish state army both in the districts of Semdinli and Cukurca have been pulled back, with no result. While enemy military operation, which launched on 14 October in the area of Geliya Zap, pulled back on 18 October under the air support of cobra type helicopters, the hidden enemy unit’s continue to their search and ambushes in the area.
The reports given by the Turkish Special Warfare Media in regard to our guerrilla looses during this operation completely based on lies.
In mean time, the enemy military operation launched by the Turkish state army in the areas of Konserve, Kanala and Gare/Semdinli, on 17 October, has been pulled back in the morning hours of 18 October.
The occupier forces also continue its bombardments. While 0n 18 October in between 20:00-22:00 hours, the occupier Turkish state army carried out bombardments on the areas of Tepe Sor, Late Kewa and Cigerxwin with cobra type helicopters, also was bombarding the areas of Helwesis, Hine, Suwara Bene and Xalka with cobra type helicopters, obus and mortars. The occupier Turkish state army also carried out obus and mortar bombardments on the Village of Kani Cenete/Zap/the Medya Defense Areas, from 18 October at 11:00 until afternoon hours of 19 October.
