The resistance displayed by the Kurdistan Freedom Guerrilla against the latest military operation of the colonial Turkish state has been continuing uninterruptedly with effective countermoves.
6 Turkish soldiers were punished and 2 more injured in a series of actions carried out by our mobile field teams.
The details of the actions are as follows;
1. In Avaşîn region;
– On April 28, at 15:20, the invaders seeking to get positioned around the Werxelê Resistance Area were targeted and shot by our forces with two assassination actions. As a result of the action, 1 invader was punished and 1 invader was injured. After the action, the invading Turkish army bombed the area with howitzers fired from the outposts on the border line and 3 times with warplanes.
2. In the Zap region;
– On April 28, the invaders seeking to advance from Girê Martyr Sorxwîn in the Çiyareş Resistance Area to Girê Şehîd Kurtay were targeted by our forces. As a result of the intervention of our forces, intense clashes took place in the area from 10:30 to 14:00. As a result of the effective hits carried out by our forces with individual weapons and assassination tactics, at least 3 invaders were punished. The invading Turkish army was able to recover its losses from the area after intensely bombarding the action area with howitzers.
– On April 28, the invaders around the Kevirêkun battle positions in the Kurojahro Resistance Area were shot by our forces with an assassination tactic and 1 invader was punished. At 12:00 on the same day, the invaders in the area were targeted and shot with heavy weapons, and the number of punished and injured invaders could not be determined.
– On April 28, at 18:40, the invaders around the Werxelê Resistance Area were targeted with heavy weapons by our forces. As a result of the effective hits of our forces, 1 invader was punished and 1 invader was injured.
– On April 28, between 09:00 and 20:00, the invading Turkish army bombed the Kurojahro Resistance Area 5 times with explosives, chemical weapons and 2 times with warplanes. During the night, the Resistance Area was bombarded again with attack helicopters.
3. On April 28, between 18:45 and 18:50, the Girê Cûdî and Girê Bihar areas of the Zap region were bombed 3 times with warplanes. On April 29, between 04:30 and 05:00, the Girê Cûdî area was bombed with howitzers fired from the outposts on the border line.
– On April 28, between 17:30 and 20:00, Girê Hell and Çemço areas in the Zap region were bombed 8 times with warplanes. On the same day, the Çemço area was bombed with howitzers fired from the outposts on the border line.
