1. On September 28 (today), between 01.00 and 03.00, the warplanes and attack helicopters of the invading Turkish army heavily bombed the Martyr Rozerin hill in the Arê region of Southern Kurdistan’s Sidakan.
The invading forces launched an invasion operation in the area after carrying out setdowns to the area with Sikorsy helicopters following the bombardment. Our forces have carried out a series of sabotage actions against the operation units between 07.00 and 07.30 this morning. Two soldiers were identified killed in these actions, and many soldiers were wounded. The invasion operation in the area is still continuing at present.
2. Our forces have punished a contra (state collaborator) named Erol Tekin in Hakkari’s Şemzînan district on September 27. This individual has collaborated with the enemy between 2017 and 2018, playing a role in the attacks of the invading Turkish army which resulted in the martyrdom of eight of our comrades and two of our militias. The entire public should know that this individual was punished purely due to the fact that he has played a role in the martyrdom of our comrades and militias. The Kurdistan Freedom Guerrilla will respond in the firmest way possible to contra activities carried out against our people and their values.
3. The operation launched in the Matê area of Oremar region in Hakkari’s Gever (Yüksekova) district on September 24 has been withdrawn without any results on September 25.
4. On September 27, at 23.50, the warplanes of the invading Turkish army bombed the Werxelê area in the Avashin area of the Medya Defence Zones.
