1. On March 7, the occupying Turkish army launched an operation in the Mêrgelo area of Bitlis province with the support of contras and village guards. On March 19, our forces carried out an action against contras and soldiers cutting down trees in the operation area.
One soldier has been killed in this targeted enemy unit, while four others have been wounded. Following the action, the occupying Turkish army extended the operation area with cobra-type helicopters and armoured vehicles. The operation was withdrawn inconclusively on March 23.
2. On March 23, around 20.00 hours, the occupying Turkish army bombed the Govendê area in Hakkari’s Şemzînan (Şemdinli) district. Following the bombardments, cobra-type attack helicopters indiscriminately bombed the area.
3. On March 21, the warplanes belonging to the occupying Turkish army bombed the slopes of the Masiro, Kanîreş and Evdolkofi hills in the Bradost region within the territory of Southern Kurdistan.
