TO THE PRESS AND PUBLIC
1-On 2 October, the occupier Turkish state army launched a military operation in the surrendering area of the Village of Kadercavus/Gilidag/Agri. On 3 October at around 18:00 hour, our guerrillas carried out two separate actions against the operational enemy forces. As a result of both actions, 2 enemy positions destroyed and 6 enemy soldiers killed. While enemy forces carried away the corpses of killed and wounded soldiers under the support of armored military vehicles, the hidden enemy units still continue search and ambushes in the area.
On 3 October at around 20:45 hour, our guerrillas carried out a sabotage action on the Baku-Ceyhan Pipelines going through nearby the Village of Yagbatan, in the district of Sarikamis/Kars.
2-The action and clashes in the districts of Semdinli, Yuksekova and Cukurca within the scope of Revolutionary Operation are as follow;
On 4 October at around 00:40 hour, our guerrillas carried an action against a enemy military convoy, which was going from Gever to Semdinli, in between the areas of Sapata and Radiolink. As a result, 1 Hedgehog type armored military vehicle has been destroyed. The number of killed and wounded enemy soldiers couldn’t clarify.
On 4 October at around 02:30 hour, our guerrillas carried out an action against an enemy military convoy going from Semdinli to Gever. As a result, 1 Scorpion type armored military vehicle has been destroyed. The number of killed and wounded enemy soldiers couldn’t be able to clarify.
The operational enemy forces, who were carrying out military operation on the Hillsides of Gare and Melayan/Semdinli for a while now, have been pulled a step back as a result of resistance shown by our guerrillas in the area. The enemy operation in the area still continues.
On 3 October at around 22:00 hour, clashes occurred in between our guerrillas and enemy’s operational forces, who launched a military operation in an area in between the Hills of Serengil and Memista/Gever. The number of killed and wounded enemy soldiers couldn’t be able to clarify after half an hour long clashes.
On 4 October at around 09:00 hour, an enemy sikorski type helicopter attempted to air-land enemy forces on the Village of Gite/Gever, yet after resistance shown by our guerrillas couldn’t land and had to fly away from the area.
The occupier Turkish state army has been carrying out obus and mortar bombardments on the areas of Carcela and Mergezere/Gever, since 3 October at 07:00 hour.
3-The president of the AKP in the city of Hakkari, Abdulmecit Tarhan, who detained by our guerrillas, has been released by our guerrillas after jurisprudence and administrative procedures completed.
