1. Within the scope of the Martyr Pîroz and Martyr Agirî Revolutionary Campaign, on October 15, at 16.00, our guerrilla forces carried out an action targeting Koordine hill in Hakkari’s Çelê (Çukurca) district.
The number of dead and wounded soldiers could not be determined in the action, where enemy positions and shelters on the hill were targeted. Following the action, the invading Turkish army bombed the area with howitzer and mortar. As a result of the bombardment, a fire broke out in the forestland.
2. On October 11, at 11.00 the invading Turkish army launched an operation in Çelê Reş, Fırat Belyas and Tirşinê areas in the Faraşin region of Beytüşşebap district of Şırnak. In this ongoing operation, disguised units are carrying out ambush activities in the operation area.
3. Warplanes of the invading Turkish army conducted air attacks on the Medya Defence Zones. The details of the attacks are as following:
On October 15 at 14.30, Sida area of the Zap region, on October 16 (today) at 03:00, Avaşin highland of Avaşin region and at 09.20 Mervanos area of Avaşin region and Şikefta Birîndara and Gundê Fillaha area of Zap region were bombed in the Medya Defence Zones.
We have had no guerrilla losses in these bombardments.
