1. Within the scope of the Martyr Bedran Gundikremo and Martyr Nalin Muş revolutionary campaign, our forces carried out actions against the occupying Turkish army in the Şemzînan (Şemdinli) and Gever (Yüksekova) districts of Hakkari province.
On August 2, at 07.30, Our forces carried out an action targeting the Bêgijnê outpost in Şemzinan. The number of dead and wounded enemy soldiers in the action, where positions were effectively struck, could not be clarified. After the action, the occuping forces bombed the area with howitzers and mortars, and a fire broke out in the area as a result of bombardment.
On August 3, at around 21:00, our guerrillas targeted armoured vehicles patrolling between outposts of the Gever district and the Durê outpost of Şemzînan. In this action, where all the vehicles were fired at, a kirpi-type armoured vehicle was damaged, and the number of dead and wounded enemy soldiers here could not be determined. Half an hour after the action, the occupying Turkish army removed dead and wounded soldiers from the area with sikorsky-type helicopters.
A group of contras were deployed on a hill in order to secure construction of a new outpost between Serero village and Êlde neighborhood of Şemzînan district. On 3 August, at 00.00, our forces organized an action against the hill. In the action, where the positions of the contras were fired at, the contras fled from the area. The number of dead and wounded contras could not be determined. After the action, armoured vehicles which came to the scene for intervention were also targeted by our forces. The number of dead and wounded soldiers in the action could not be determined. After the action, the occupying Turkish army launched an operation in the Dola Bermêşa area.
On August 3, at 10:00 am, our forces carried out an action against the occupying Turkish army's soldiers positioned at the top of Bayê hill located in the Gever district. Two enemy soldiers were killed in this action where the positions and tents on the hill were shot effectively, and a fire broke out in one tent where the soldiers were positioned. After the action, the invading forces bombarded the area with howitzer and mortar shells.
2. Within the scope of the Martyr Azad Farqin and Martyr Jinda Özgür revolutionary campaign, our forces carried out actions against the occupying Turkish army in Amed's Lice and Farqin (Silvan) districts.
On July 31, the occupying Turkish army had stationed disguised troops to the area after the operation on the zone of Martyr Kawa in Farqin (Silvan) district. This disguised unit, which has been under surveillance by our forces, was targeted at the Malêgir zone of Farqin at about 19.50 hours on August 2nd. Five soldiers were identified to have been killed in the enemy unit that was shot in close range effectively. After the action, the occupying Turkish army removed dead and wounded soldiers from the area with armoured vehicles.
On July 28, a disguised unit of the enemy, which had been carrying out ambush activity between the villages of Sisê and Dêrxust of Lice, was taken under surveillance by our forces and an action was carried out on July 31 at 16.00. Seven soldiers were killed in this action, where enemy positions were taken under close fire. After the action, the occupying Turkish army, which had to withdraw its disguised units from the area, bombed the area with cobra-type attack helicopters.
