Press Release
1. Within the scope of the Martyr Bedran Gundikremo and Martyr Nalin Muş revolutionary campaigns, on June 10, at 18.00, our forces carried out actions targeting positions of the occupying Turkish army soldiers on the Koordine hill of Çelê (Çukurca) district of Hakkari. One soldier was killed in the action.
- On June 10, at 23:00, the occupying Turkish army bombed the Petrut hill with cobra-type attack helicopters and carried out setdown with skorsky-type helicopter in Hakkari's Çelê district.
2. On June 10, at 09.00, a convoy belonging to the occupying Turkish army which was on the move from the Xerxol outpost of Siirt's Pervari district to Eruh district was targeted by our guerrilla forces. Soldiers who acting as security around the convoy have been effectively hit at close range. At the same time, our forces carried out a sabotage action against a kirp-type armored vehicle in the convoy and the scorpion-type armored vehicle was destroyed. 11 soldiers were killed in this action, in which a civilian vehicle used by the contras in the convoy was also damaged. After the action, the TRT Eruh outpost bombarded the action area and its surroundings with howitzers and mortars.
3. On June 7, at 5:30, the occupying Turkish army launched an occupation operation in the Qerebilya area of the Başkale district of Van with the support of UAVs, cobra-type helicopters and contras. On the same day, between 06.00 and 17.30 hours, there was a conflict between our forces and the occupying Turkİsh army soldiers. Six soldiers have been identified killed in the action, while three soldiers were wounded. The occupying Turkish army removed dead and wounded soldiers from the area with skorsky helicopters. The operation was withdrawn at 20:00. During the operation, two of our comrades were martyred after fighting heroically.
- on June 9, at 19.30, our forces carried out an action against Van Gevas District Security Directorate. As a result of the effective hits, fire broke out in the building. Seven polices have been identified killed and 4 police officers were wounded in the action. After the action, the occupying Turkish army arrested and tortured 3 civilians who had no connection with our forces. Our action unit unit has securely reached their base.
- On June 10, our forces carried out an action targeting Bibanê oupost of the occupying Turkish army in the area of Şerefhan of Van's Bashkale district. In the action, enemy positions were hit effectively and three soldiers were killed. After the action, the Bibanê outpost indiscriminately bombarded the surrounding area with heavy weapons.
4. Within the last two days, the occupying Turkish army launched an occupation operation in the areas of Bılbeysê, Bate, Hemka, Pirosa, Zevyan and Melisê of Beytüssebap district of Şırnak. The operation is still continuing.
5. On June 9, the occupying Turkish army launched an occupation operation in the Çılmêra, Deriyê Doski, Deriyê Cebrail, and Çel Jehrê areas of the Cudi area of Şırnak. On June 10, at 13:00, our forces carried out an action targeting a enemy unit deployed between Deriyê Gabriel and Çılmêra areas. A enemy position was destroyed where the number of dead and wounded soldiers could not be clarified. After the action, the occupying Turkish army bombarded Celê Jehrê, Kaniya Dolê and Gırê Zorava areas with howitzers and mortars. The operation was withdrawn at 22.00 on the same day.
6. On June 9, at 20.30, our forces which encountered with the occupying Turkish army soldiers in the Sêgamergê area of Bingöl's Genç district entered into conflict with the enemy forces. One soldier has been indentified killed in the clash where another soldier has been wounded.
7. On June 9, the occupying Turkish army launched operations in the areas of the villages of Metana, Alz, Tukermav, Hasardağı, Kosalan and Kiris villages of Bingöl. While the operation was partially withdrawn on June 10, the enemy has positioned its secret units in the field.
8. On June 8 at 08.40, one of our guerrilla unit carried out an action against the Karayılan Gendarmerie station in Hatay's Iskenderun district. In the action where the positions and the station were effectively hit, the enemy units heading for the field have also been targeted. In the action where the number of dead and wounded soldiers could not be clarified, many ambulances which arrived in the action area has carried away the dead and wounded soldiers from the area.
9. Our forces carried out a sabotage action against the occupying Turkish army soldiers in the Martyr Delil zone of Dersim's Nazimiye distict on June 8, between 12.00 and 13.00 hours. The number of dead and wounded soldiers in the action couldn't be clarified.
