TO THE PRESS AND PUBLIC
1-On 6 July, the occupier forces of the Turkish state army launched a military operation in the rural areas of the district of Tatvan/Bitlis. On 12 July, the operational forces of Turkish state army bombarded all the areas, where the military operation took place, with tank, cobra type helicopter and armoured military vehicles, then pulled back in the night hours .
2-On 9 July in between 15:00-22:00 hours, the occupier forces of Turkish state army carried out obus and mortar attacks on the Hillsides of Sehit Mazlum and Destan; the surrounding areas of Karatas Military station, and the area of Betkare, in the district of Cukurca/Hakkari. Again, the war-planes also carried out air-raids on the same areas on 10 July at 03:00 hours.
3-On 10 July at around 22:00 hour, our guerrillas carried out an action against a work-yard belongs to a company working with enemy on military areas. As a result, 6 vehicles belongs to the president of the AKP in the district of Silvan, have been burnt and destroyed. Aftermath of the action, the cobra type helicopters belongs to occupier forces of Turkish state army bombarded the area.
4-On 10 July at around 10:00 hour, the occupier forces of Turkish state army launched a military operation in the areas consisting the Hill of Sehit Mazlum, the area of Destan, Gire Sor and, the surrounding areas of the Karatas Military station. During the operation, a clash occurred in between our guerrillas and operational enemy forces. As a result, 3 enemy soldiers killed and 10 others wounded. Aftermath of clashes, while enemy forces carried away their corpses and wounded soldiers with sikorsky type helicopters, the cobra type helicopters bombarded the areas. On the same day at 15:00 hour, the war-planes also bombarded the same areas, then enemy operational forces partially pulled back in the morning hours of 11 July.
5-The occupier forces of Turkish state army have been bombarding the areas of Sehit Mazlum, Destan and Gire Sor, with obus and mortars, in the district of Cukurca/Hakkari. As a result of these bombardments bush-fires began in these areas, which still continues.
6-On 12 July at around 13:00 hour, 2 lorries working on a military area and a vehicle belongs to the TEDAS have been burnt and destroyed by our guerrillas nearby the Beyazcesme Military station, in the district of Piran/Amed.
7-On 12 July at 21:00 hour, our guerrillas carried out a Road Control in the area in between the area of Karaz/Amed Central and the district of Lice. While our guerrillas made a I.D. control, they also informed the people about the latest developments. Our guerrillas also burnt and destroy a vehicle belongs to a company working with enemy.
8-On 12 July at 05:30 hour, clashes occurred in between our guerrillas and enemy forces, whome were carrying out a military operation nearby the Meymun Military Base, in the district of Uludere/Sirnak. Clashes continued for almost an hour, and as a result at least 12 enemy soldiers killed, yet the number of wounded soldiers couldn’t be able clerified. At 18:15 hour, enemy forces carried away the corpses of killed and wounded soldiers with sikorsky type helicopters.
9-In between 12 July at 08:00 and morning hours of 13 July, the occupier forces of Turkish state army carried out obus and mortar attacks on the Villages of Haftanin and Betalma, the areas of Sehit Kendal and Sehit Delila/Haftanin/Zaxo/the Meedya Defence Areas.
