The clashes between the occupying Turkish army and our guerrilla forces are continuing intensively. Our guerrillas have inflicted heavy losses on the occupying Turkish army in the effective actions conducted in the Samandağ district of Hatay province, the Gever (Yüksekova) and Çele (Çukurca) districts of Hakkari province against the developing invasion operations and enemy units. The details of the operations and conflicts where 13 enemy soldiers have been killed in the last two days is as following;
1. On October 19, at 18.45, our forces carried out an action against the coast guard command connected to the gendarmerie located between the Kapısu and Çevlik neighbourhoods of Hatay’s Samandağ district. In this action where the guard cabins and coast guard ferryboats were hit effectively, one guard cabin and one coast guard ferryboat has been destroyed. Three enemy soldiers have been identified killed in this action. Many of the soldiers put under intense fire have fled from the post. After the action, many armoured vehicles and ambulances carried away the dead and wounded soldiers from the post.
2. Within the scope of the second phase of the Martyr Bedran Gundikremo and Martyr Nalin Muş revolutionary campaign, our forces carried out an action targeting the occupying forces deployed on the Qela Perixanê hill in Hakkari’s Gever (Yüksekova) district at 10.00 am on October 20. Eight soldiers have been killed and six others have been wounded in this action where the enemy soldiers and their positions were put under intensive fire with RPG-7 rocket launchers and individual weapons.
3. The occupying Turkish army's operation on October 16, aiming to invade the Zap region of the Medya Defense Zones from Hakkari's Çelê (Çukurca) district continues. Within this scope, our YJA Star forces carried out two actions against the enemy units on the Xeregol hill at 14.00 and 15.00 hours on October 20. Two soldiers have been identified killed in this action where the enemy soldiers have been effectively hit.
4. The occupying Turkish army had launched an operation with the participation of contras and village guards in the Qelanıs area of Siirt's Baykan district on October 4. The occupying forces have bombed the Qelanıs area with howitzers and mortars throughout the operation. The operation was withdrawn without result on October 19.
5. On October 20, around 16.00 hours, the occupying Turkish army's warplanes bombed the Martyr Sidar Hill located in the Zap region of the Medya Defense Zones.
