1. On February 13, at 08.40 hours, our forces carried out an extensive action against the military base of the occupying Turkish army positioned on Girê Biyê hill near the town of Begova in Zakho province of South Kurdistan.
Our forces have intensely hit the positions, containers, tents and buildings located in the outpost compound from eight arms. Two tanks and one Kirpi-type armoured vehicle has been destroyed in the enemy base which was effectively hit. In addition, fire has broken out in many buildings, positions and containers which were targeted in the outpost. According to information obtained, 22 enemy soldiers were killed in this action where many positions and booths were destroyed, while more than 10 enemy soldiers were wounded. Warplanes belonging to the occupying Turkish army indiscriminately bombed the area following the action.
2. On February 13 and 14, warplanes belonging to the occupying Turkish army carried out air attacks against the Medya Defense Zones.
On February 13, at 12.00, warplanes bombed the zone of Tepê Ortê in the Metina area.
On February 14, at 06.00, warplanes bombed the Geliyê Basya area in the Avashin region, and the Şikeftiya area in the Gare region from 06.30 to 07.30 hours.
