TO THE PRESS AND PUBLIC
1-On 8 September in between 13:30-17:30 hours, our guerrillas carried out a road control on road between in between Sex Cuma and Bitlis. While our guerrillas checked the I.D.s, also informed people about the latest developments. Our guerrillas detained 3 village-guards; Naif Kirsen, Kasim Arif and Zubeyir Melek. After initial questioning all three have been arrested by our guerrillas.
2-The occupier Turkish state army launched a military operation in order to brake the control of our guerrillas on the Semdinli and Yusekova line, Hakkari. As a result, there have been intensive clashes in between our guerrillas and operational enemy forces both yesterday and today.
On 9 September in between 04:00-10:00 hours, the enemy forces air-landed its forces with sikorsky type helicopters for seven times, and enforced them from the land as well, in an attempt to take over the areas of Salara and the Triangle Hill of Salara/Semdinli. Our guerrillas carried out an action from four different wings against these operational enemy forces, which made of 130 soldier and village-guards, at 15:30 hour. And, intensive and severe clashes continued until 19:30 hour. As a result, our guerrillas repulsed enemy forces and took over all the strategic Hills, which enemy forces attempting to positioned themselves.
As a result of all the action and clashes, total of 22 enemy soldiers killed and 20 others wounded. Our guerrillas also confiscated 1 full automatic BKC together with 7 chains and 700 bullets, 1 HK33 with its binoculars, 6 magazines and 180 bullets, 1 daylight binoculars, 1 thermal camera, 14 hand grenades, 2 fog bombs, 2 steel waistcoats and many other military equipments. Also, 1 full auto BKC, 1 HK33, 1 B7 rocket-launcher and 1 thermal camera have been destroyed by our guerrillas as well.
Enemy forces carried away their corpses of killed and wounded soldiers with sikorsky type helicopters at 20:30 hour due to the areas were under our guerrillas control. In mean time, enemy forces carried out intensive bombardments on the areas where clashes occurred with cobra type helicopters, obus and mortars.
On 9 September at around 12:00 hour, our guerrillas carried an action against enemy positioned on a Hill to secure the Gare Regiment. As a result, 1 enemy soldier killed.
On 8 September at around 12:00 hour, our guerrillas carried out an action against the Police HQ in the district of Semdinli/Hakkari. Number of killed and wounded policemen couldn’t be able to clarify.
Our guerrillas also carried out a road control in between the area of Oramar and district of Yuksekova/Hakkari, in between 08:00-10:00 hours. While our guerrillas check-up the I.D.s, also informed the people about the latest developments.
Again today in between 06:00-07:00 hours, there has been clashes began in between our guerrillas and enemy forces, who attempted to launch a military operation on the Mtn. Goman/Semdinli. Here, intensive clashes still continues.
On 9 September in between 16:00-17:00 hours, the war-planes belongs to the occupier Turkish state army carried out air-bombardments on the area of Gire Berxan/Oramar, after great blows by our guerrillas.
3-Within the scope of the Martyrs Adil and Nuda Revolutionary Operation in the district of Beytussebap/Sirnak, our guerrillas carried an action against a unit of enemy soldiers who were preparing to launch a military operation in the area of Keletane/Mezra/Beytussebap, on 9 September at around 10:20 hour. As a result, 4 enemy soldiers killed and 1 other wounded. Enemy forces two times carried away corpses of their killed and wounded soldiers with sikorski type helicopters.
4-On 10 September in between 00:15-01:20 hours, the war-planes belong to the occupier Turkish state army carried out air-bombardments on the area of Kani Guze/Amediye/Metina/the Medya Defense Areas.
5-On 8-9 September, the occupier Turkish state army carried out bombardments on the areas of Ciyaye Res and Xeregol/Seladize/Zap/ the Medya Defense Areas, and the areas of Ertus, Big and Small Gare/Cukurca/Hakkari, with obus and mortars. As a result of these bombardments, bush fires began both in the areas of Ciyaye Res and Sehis Rustem, which still continues.
