1. Within the scope of the Martyr Bedran Gundikremo and Martyr Nalin Muş revolutionary campaign, our forces carried out extensive actions against the occupying forces out on operation in Hakkari’s Şemzinan (Şemdinli) district.
On August 26, our guerrillas targeted the enemy forces which launched an invasion operation in the area between the Seraro and Êlde neighbourhoods of Şemzinan.
Our forces have put under close surveillance one of the disguised units in the operation and this unit was effectively hit while attempting to position on the Martyr Evîndar hill at the morning hours of 07.30. The number of dead and wounded enemy soldiers as a result of this strike could not be clarified.
Another invasion unit has positioned on the Tepe Korici hill after the noon hours, accompanied by seven armoured vehicle and heavy work machines. The same unit has carried away the dead and wounded soldiers on the Martyr Evîndar hill to Şemzinan.
On 16.30 the same day, our guerrillas also targeted the invasion forces positioned on the Tepe Korici hill. Four of the enemy soldiers hit effectively in this unit were killed in this action and three soldiers, one village guard was wounded. Two of the armoured vehicles situated on the hill carried away dead and wounded soldiers to Şemzinan.
On 18.00, our forces targeted the invasion forces positioned on the same hill once again. Our guerrillas hit the enemy forces effectively while 11 soldiers gathered together. During this strike, three enemy soldiers including one commander was killed and eight enemy soldiers were heavily wounded. After this action, the occupying Turkish army carried away its dead and wounded soldiers from the area with two armoured vehicles, two ambulances and one dolmush-type vehicle.
After a period of one and a half hours from this action, our forces targeted the enemy soldiers positioned on the Martyr Evîndar hill at 19.30 hours. The number of dead and wounded soldiers in the positions hit effectively could not be clarified. After this action, the enemy carried away its dead and wounded soldiers from the area with four armoured vehicles.
In these actions carried out by our forces against the Martyr Evîndar and Korici hills, seven enemy soldiers including one commander has been confirmed killed while 12 enemy soldiers including one village guard has been wounded.
The invasion operation of the enemy continues with the ambush-type activity of the enemy’s disguised units. Our forces which carried out the actions have not had any losses.

One soldier has been killed in the action carried out against enemy soldiers positioned on the Elîşêr hill at 07.30 this morning (August 27).
After the action, occupying forces indiscriminately fired at the surroundings of the hill with mortar shells and heavy weapons.
2. Our forces have carried out an action against the Yolçatı outpost located in the Nizamiye district of Dersim province. The artillery batteries stationed at the Yolçatı outpost has played a significant role in the bombardment of the Dersim countryside and the forest fires which broke out.
On August 26, 17.30, our forces targeted these artillery batteries, effectively hitting the soldiers gathered around howitzer shells. Two enemy soldiers have been identified killed in this action and another has been wounded.
