1. Within the scope of Martyr Bager and Martyr Ronya Revolutionary Campaign, our guerrilla forces carried out effective actions against the invading Turkish army on July 5. The details of the actions, in which many enemy soldiers were killed and wounded, are as follows:
At 10.30, our forces carried out an action targeting a convoy of armored vehicles of the invading Turkish army, which was advancing in the direction of Xeregol hill from the Eriş regiment of Çelê (Çukurca) district of Hakkari. In this action, the enemy convoy was intensely put under fire from 3 sides, a Kirpi- type armored vehicle was destroyed and a Reo type military vehicle was damaged. In this action, 9 enemy soldiers were killed and 3 soldiers were wounded. Following the action, the invading Turkish army, which carried away dead and wounded soldiers from the area with a large number of armored vehicles, launched an operation in the area. Our action unit has reached its base area safely.
At 13.40, our YJA Star forces carried out a targeted action against an enemy unit trying to secure the Martyr Sarya hill of the Xakurkê region in the Medya Defense Zones. In the action, the commander of the unit was killed. Following the action, the invading Turkish army indiscriminately opened fire at löits surroundings with heavy weapons.
At 14.00, our forces carried out an action against the invaders positioned on the Girê Bayê hill of the Çarrçella area on the borderline of Gever (Yüksekova) district of Hakkari. In this action where enemy positions and shelters were effectively struck, 1 soldier was killed and 3 soldiers were wounded. Following the action, the invading Turkish army removed the dead and wounded soldiers from the area with Sikorsky helicopters.
2. On July 5, at 20.00, our forces carried out an action against the invading Turkish army positioned on the Radar hill of Qileban (Uludere) district of Sirnak. In this action where the radar center on the hill was targeted, the radar center was destroyed. Following the action, the invading Turkish army randomly bombed the surrounding areas with heavy weapons and a fire broke out in the forest.
3. Within the scope of the Martyr Medya Mawa and Martyr Rizgar Gever Revenge Campaign, which continues in Botan region, our forces carried out a sabotage action targeting an Amarog type vehicle belonging to the invading Turkish army which is moving between Osyan and Akir villages of Pervari district of Siirt on July 5, at 11.00. The enemy vehicle was destroyed and 3 soldiers were killed and 2 soldiers were wounded. Following the action, the invading Turkish army closed the road to the traffic until the night hours. Our unity carrying out the action has reached its base area safely.
4. On July 4, at 05.00, the invading Turkish army launched an operation in the Gundikê Melê and Çiyayê Fila areas of the Besta region of Şırnak. The invading Turkish army carried out setdowns on Serkê Mıhemedê Osê area and conducted the search activities in the area under the leadership of the contras. On the same day, the invading Turkish army withdrew from the area without a result in the evening hours. Ambush activities of invaders have continued in the area.
5. On July 5, Lolan Stream in the Xakurkê region, around 11.00, the Kalatuka and Martyr Nuda hill in the Kandil region between 11.00 and 12.00, the Kurojahro area of the Zap region at 20.00 were bombed by the warplanes belonging to the invading Turkish army. We did not have any losses in these attacks.
