Within the scope of the Martyr Bedran Gundikremo and Martyr Nalin Muş revolutionary campaign, our forces carried out effective actions against the occupying Turkish army in Hakkari province.
On July 16, at 21.30, a convoy of the occupying Turkish army consisting of armoured vehicles was targeted by our forces at the Kanî Orê area of Hakkari's Çelê (Çukurca) district. Our forces firstly destroyed a Kirpi-type armoured vehicle in the centre of the convoy put under fire with sabotage. Our forces have also put under fire the other vehicles of the convoy which was spit into two with one strike. Another scorpion-type vehicle targeted by B7 (RPG) rockets was destroyed after burning down. In the action which lasted about half an hour, 16 enemy soldiers were identified killed while many enemy soldiers were wounded.
After the action, the occupying Turkish army bombed the Kanî Orê area with howitzer and mortar shells. Four hours later, on July 17 at 02.00 hours, enemy forces carried away the vehicle debris and its dead and wounded soldiers from the area.
Within the scope of the campaign, our forces have followed a special gendarmerie unit carrying out contra activity in Hakkari's Esendere area and trying to agentize our youth. The JÖH (Gendarmerie Special Operations) soldiers put under surveillance for some time were targeted by our forces between the villages of Bilindbasan and Sorya while heading towards Gever (Yüksekova) district from Esendere with two transit vehicles. While one transit vehicle was completely destroyed, another has been struck by our forces. 18 soldiers were identified killed in this action, while four soldiers were wounded.
After the action, occupying forces removed their dead and wounded soldiers from the area with sikorsy-type helicopters and launched an operation in the surroundings of Bilindbasan village.
Within the same campaign, our YJA Star forces carried out an assassination action against the occupying Turkish army positioned on the Bayê hill in the Çarçella area of Gever on July 16, 12.30 hours.
On July 2017, at 14.00, our forces carried out an action targeting enemy positions on the Martyr Mazlum bill in Çelê. The number of dead and wounded enemy soldiers in this action where enemy positions were effectively hit could not be clarified.
2. On July 15, near the village of Derebağ in the Çağlayan area of Erzincan province, our forces put under surveillance a disguised unit of the Turkish army. Our forces carried out an action against the soldiers who were under surveillance for some time. Two enemy soldiers were killed and another has been wounded in the action where the enemy was hit in close range. The occupying Turkish army which carried away its dead and wounded from the area after the action with sikorsy-type helicopters, simultaneously fired at the area with heavy weapons.
3. The occupying Turkish army had launched an operation in Mardin's Bagok area on 9 July. The occupying Turkish army carrying out ambush activity in the field after setting down on the slopes of the Konferans, Martyr Xemgin and Martyr Bêrivan hill, along with the territory of Navsere, has set on fire fields belonging to villagers during the operation. Enemy soldiers have prevented the locals trying to put down the fire. The operation was withdrawn from the area inconclusively on July 17. The operation launched by the occupying Turkish army on the Omerya area of Mardin province on July 7 was withdrawn inconclusively on July 10.
4. On July 13, at 00.00, an operation was launched with the support of cobra-type attack helicopters, reconnaissance aircraft and warplanes on the Martyr Serxwebun area of Amed. The occupying army bombed the area until July 13, 04.00 am, carrying out setdown of soldiers. Straight after the setdowns, intense conflicts have taken place between our forces and the occupying forces. The number of dead and wounded soldiers in these conflicts could not be clarified. Our four guerrillas who fought heroically against enemy forces in the conflicts which took place have reached martyrdom.
5. On July 17, at 20.00, warplanes belonging to the occupying Turkish army bombed the Ermuş and Karker areas in the Xakurke region of the Medya Defense Zones. The same day, at 17.40, warplanes bombed the slopes of Şikefta Brîndara and Kurojaro hills in the Zap region.
