Within the scope of the Martyr Bedran Gundikremo and Martyr Nalin Muş revolutionary campaign, our forces carried out actions against the occupying Turkish army in the Şemzînan (Şemdinli) and Çelê (Çukurca) districts of Hakkari province.

A convoy of the occupying Turkish army consisting of armoured vehicles which was moving from Gever to the Şemzînan district was targeted by our forces between the Êlde and Meydan neighbourhoods on Şemzînan at 00.30 on July 22. While one cobra-type armoured vehicle was destroyed in this action where the armoured vehicles were effectively hit, 9 special operations soldiers have been identified killed.

During the action, occupying forces indiscriminately opened fire on surrounding houses in the area. After the action, the occupying Turkish army carried away its dead and wounded soldiers from the area, while removing vehicle debris with work machines.

On July 22, at 05.10 am, our forces carried out an action against occupying Turkish army soldiers positioned on the Qela Mêrganış region  in Çelê. While two positions were destroyed in this action where they were put under fire in two arms, 5 enemy soldiers have been identified killed.

On July 21, at 13.00, our forces targeted the enemy positions located at the Koordine hill in Çelê district. The number of dead and wounded enemy soldiers couldn't be clarified.
