1. Within the scope of the Martyr Pîroz and Martyr Agirî Revolutionary Campaign, our forces carried out comprehensive actions against the invading Turkish army within the regions of Bradost and Barzan in the territory of Southern Kurdistan, and Hakkari in Northern Kurdistan. The details of the actions which were carried out within the scope of the campaign are as following;
On May 21, at 06.30, our forces carried out an action against an enemy unit on the Şikêr hill near the Tepê Xwede zone in the Barzan region after placing under surveillance this unit for a long time. Five soldiers have been identified killed in this enemy unit struck effectively in close range. Following the action, the invading Turkish army bombed the area with howitzer and mortar shells.
On the same day, at 15.00, our forces carried out a comprehensive action against the invading Turkish army positioned on the Lêlîkan hill in Southern Kurdistan’s Bradost region. Our forces have put under intense fire the hill positioned by the enemy on seven arms. 13 positions and five shelters on the enemy hill were completely destroyed as a result of effective hits. 23 enemy soldiers were identified killed in this action, and many other soldiers were wounded. Following the action, the invading forces carried away dead and wounded soldiers with many vehicles to near the village of Lêlîkan. In the night hours of May 22, warplanes and cobra-type helicopters bombed the Lêlîkan area.
Once again, on 17.00 the same day, our forces carried out an action against the invading soldiers on the Evdilkofi hill in the Bradost region. Our forces, going over the enemy positions put under intense fire, effectively struck and destroyed many of the enemy’s positions. Our forces have killed 15 enemy soldiers in this action, including a specialised sergeant named Hasan Ali. Our forces who heroically went over enemy positions seized one BKC machine gun and one hand-held radio from the enemy bodies, and many military materials were destroyed by our forces. Following the action, at 22.45, warplanes bombed the Evdilkofi and Ermuş areas.
On May 21, around 10.30, our forces carried out an assassination action against the soldiers in the Şikêr outpost in Hakkari’s Çelê (Çukurca) district. One enemy soldier has been killed in this action.
On May 22, at 08.30, our forces carried out an action against the enemy positions on the Koordine hill in Hakkari’s Çelê district. The number of dead and wounded soldiers in this action where the enemy soldiers and shelters were put under intense fire could not be determined.
2. On May 21, at 12.20, our YJA Star forces carried out an assassination action against the enemy soldiers in the Erbo outpost in Siirt's Baykan district. In the action, one enemy soldier was killed.
3. The occupying Turkish army is constructing a security road by cutting trees in the wooded areas of the region with the support of contras in Kesre valley in the centre of Bitlis. Despite all the warnings of our forces, the contras continuing to cut trees and taking part in the construction of the road were targeted by our forces on May 21 at 12.30. The number of dead and wounded contras in the action could not be determined.
4. On the evening of May 17, the occupying Turkish army launched an operation with the support of the unmanned aerial vehicle in the area of the Martyr Kawa in Farqin (Silvan) district and the Martyr Navdar area of Lice district. This operation was withdrawn without any result on May 19th.
