1. Within the scope of the Martyr Bager and Martyr Ronya Revolutionary Campaign continuing in the Medya Defence Zones, our forces carried out effective actions against the invading Turkish army on the 30 June anniversary of comrade Martyr Zilan. The details of the actions are as following;
On June 23, at 09.05, our forces carried out an action against the invading Turkish army carrying out a security road construction on Martyr Rahime Hill in Hakkari’s Gever (Yüksekova) district. The number of dead and wounded soldiers in this action where the enemy's work machines and positions were hit effectively on two sides could not be determined. Following the action, the invaders bombed the area indiscriminately with howitzer and mortar shells.
On the same day, at 19.30, our forces carried out an action against the checkpoints of the invading Turkish army positioned near Çemê Bedel village between Hakkari’s Çele district and Van. While five soldiers were killed in this action where the enemy's cabins were put under intense fire on three arms, one enemy cabin and one military vehicle have received heavy blows.
On June 24, around 11.30, our forces carried out a sabotage action against the invading Turkish army units on the road between Martyr Ferman and Martyr Elişer Hills in Hakkari’s Gever district. Three soldiers were killed and three soldiers were injured in this successful action.
On the same day, at 19.35, our YJA Star forces carried out an action against the invading Turkish army positioned in Meydanbelekê area of Gever district. Eight soldiers were killed and many others were injured in this effective action where the shelters in the area positioned by the Turkish army were hit on two arms.
2. On June 19, at 00.10, the invading Turkish army launched an operation in Karar area of Adaklı district of Bingöl. The invading forces bombed the operation area with warplanes and attack helicopters at 02.00 hours. The invading army then carried out setdowns with Sikorsky helicopters. Shortly after, heavy clashes have taken place. Two of our comrades who fought heroically against enemy forces reached martyrdom in these conflicts. This operation was put to halt on June 20. The ID information of our martyrs will be announced later on.
3. The invading army’s warplanes have carried out air attacks against the Medya Defence Zones. Within this scope, on June 23, between 23.00 and 00.00, warplanes bombed Kunişka area in the Zap region.
On June 24, at 13.00, the Küçük Cilo area in Zap was shelled, and on 13.30 the Xınerê area in the Xakurkê region was also shelled.
On June 25 (today) at 00.30, the Xantur area in Haftanin region was bombed. While we have had no losses in these bombardments, they have caused fires in forested areas in the region.
