Within the scope of the ongoing Revolutionary Victory Campaign in Serhat Province, our guerrilla forces carried out an action against the enemy soldiers positioned on a tower trying to provide the security of the Axuri outpost in Iğdır district on 16 January at 16.30 hours.

The number of dead and wounded soldiers could not be determined in this action where enemy soldiers were taken under heavy fire. After the action, the invading Turkish army indiscriminately shelled the area with heavy weapons.
