1. Within the scope of the Martyr Pîroz and Martyr Agirî Revolutionary Campaign, our forces carried out a series of comprehensive actions against the occupying Turkish army. The details of the actions carried out by our forces are as following;
On June 3, at 23.30, our YJA Star forces carried out an action against the invaders positioned on the Korucu hill in Hakkari’s Şemzinan (Şemdinli) district. The number of dead and wounded soldiers in this action where the enemy’s positions and shelters were effectively hit could not be determined. On June 4, at 00.30 hours, our forces carried out a sabotage action against the armoured vehicles which arrived on the scene for intervention following the action. A Dragoon-type armoured which was targeted in the action was completely destroyed, and nine special operations members were killed here.
On June 4, at 04.30, the occupying Turkish army launched an operation in the surroundings of Serero village in Hakkari’s Şemzînan district. The invading forces which declared a curfew in the village encircled its surroundings. On the same day, during the morning hours, our forces carried out a sabotage action against soldiers and an armoured vehicle moving on the Serero-Şapatan road. The number of dead and wounded soldiers in this action where the armoured vehicle was effectively hit could not be determined.
During the same hour, the armoured vehicles hit their own soldiers near the Serero village, and many soldiers were wounded. The invading forces carried away dead and wounded soldiers to central Gever (Yüksekova) with many armoured vehicles and Sikorsy helicopters.
2. Within the scope of the Martyr Delal Amed and Besta Martyrs Revolutionary Campaign, our forces carried out comprehensive actions against the invaders. The details of the actions where many soldiers were killed are as following;
On June 5, at 16.40, our forces carried out a sabotage action against a Cobra-type armoured vehicle moving between the Zıvıngê battalion and the Security hill in the Gabar mountain of Şırnak province. Simultaneously, our forces intensively struck this vehicle and this vehicle was completely destroyed. Six enemy soldiers were killed in this action. Approximately one hour after the action, the invading forces carried away dead and wounded soldiers from the area with the support of many armoured vehicles, tanks and Cobra-type helicopters.
On the same day, at 17.00, our forces carried out an action against a unit of the occupying Turkish army positioned on the Deriyê Eyşêdînkê hill trying to provide the security of the new outpost being built in the Deriyê Beroj zone in Şırnak’s Besta region. Seven enemy soldiers were killed in this action where the enemy’s positions and shelters were hit effectively in close range on six arms. Following the action, the invading Turkish army carried away dead and wounded soldiers from the area with the support of unmanned aerial vehicles and Attack-type helicopters.
On June 4, at 16.30, our forces carried out an assassination action against the soldiers in the Mahsertê Fafê outpost in Mardin’s Mahsertê (Ömerli) district. One enemy soldier was killed in this action.
3. Within the scope of the Martyr Ozan and Martyr Roza Dersim Revolutionary Campaign, on June 5, at 17.00, our forces carried out an action against the Çiçekli outpost in central Dersim province. One Dragoon-type armoured vehicle inside the outpost which was effectively hit was completely destroyed in this action, and one enemy soldier has been killed here. Following the action, Cobra-type helicopters indiscriminately struck the surroundings of the outpost.
4. For some time, the occupying Turkish army has been cutting down trees around the Gundê Mezra, Xisroke, Tuğ, and Kurtıka villages in the Tatvan district of Bitlis province with the help of contras. These contras who continued cutting down trees despite all the warnings from our forces were hit by our forces on June 5, at 17.00 hours. The number of dead and wounded contras in this action could not be clarified.
5. The warplanes of the occupying Turkish army carried out air attacks against the Medya Defense Zones from 22.00 to 00.00 hours on June 5. Within this scope;
Warplanes bombed the Saca and Sida areas in the Zap region, the Adılbeg area in the Avashin region, the Gundê Guzê and Hefttebax areas in the Gare region, the Şex Zadê area in the Xakurke region, and lastly the Kozinê area in the Qandil region.
