Our guerrillas carried out two separate actions against enemy military convoys within the scope of our forces sovereignty on the areas of the districts of Semdinli, Yuksekova and Cukurca/Hakkari.
On 14 October at 12:00 hour, our guerrillas carried out an action against an enemy military convoy made of 18 military vehicles going to the area of Gire Memiste/Yuksekova. The number of killed and wounded enemy soldiers couldn’t be able to clarify. Aftermath of the action, enemy forces carried out obus and mortar bombardments on the Mnt. Carcela.
On 14 October, our guerrillas carried out an action against an enemy military convoy made of 45 vehicles, which was going to the area of Geliye Tiyare from the district of Cukurca. The action carried out from 6 different guerrilla wings and as a result the military convoy has been divided. While some of the vehicles stood where they were, and some others pulled back. In mean time, enemy forces attempted to intervene to the area by attempting to air-land its soldiers, yet our guerrillas also retaliated to this as well. The clashes in the area still continue time to time. The details of this action and clashes will be shared with the press and public in the coming days.
The occupier Turkish state army has been carrying out obus and mortar bombardments on the area of Kucuk Gare, in the district of Cukurca, which began on 14 October, still continues.
