TO THE PRESS AND PUBLIC

1- On 26th of September, 2010, at around 05:00 hours, the Turkish state army launched a military operation against the Hills of Rahna Pire and Goman, and Merkole/Semdinli/Hakkari. The operation continues with search and ambushes by hidden units in the area.

2- In the night hours of 27th of September, 2010, the Turkish state army carried an obus and mortar attack on the area of Sehit Beritan, the Hills of Karker and Koordine/Xakurke/the Medya Defence Areas.

3- On 22nd of September, 2010, the Turkish state army launched a military operation against the Villages of Helena, Katuna, Sikeftan and Gundke Mele/Semdinli/Hakkari. The operation still continues by hidden units in terms of search and ambushes.
