TO THE PRESS AND PUBLIC

1- In the morning hours of 7 May, the occupier forces of the Turkish state army launched a military operation in the area of Geliye Masiro, in the district of Catak, Van. The operation pulled back on the night hours of the same day with no result.

2- For a while now, the occupier forces of the Turkish state army have been placing Tank and Panzers on the Hills in between the Villages of Silhone and Xelate, and the area of Goma Semil/in the district of Dogubeyazit/Agri, preparing for a military operation in the area.

3- On 7 May, our guerrillas carried out an action against an enemy unit on the move, in the area of Garisa, in the district of Eruh/Siirt. As a result, 5 enemy soldiers killed and many more wounded by our guerrillas. Also during in this action, one of our guerrilla name Cekdar Renas (Delil Nergis) reached to martry after a brave resistance. Aftermath of the action, the cobra type helicopters belongs to the enemy, 2 time bombarded the area of action. Aftermath of the bombardment, a miliatary operation launched in the area, which still continues.
