TO THE PRESS AND PUBLIC
1-Our guerrilla action continues within the scope of the Revolutionary Operation started in the districts of Semdinli, Yuksekova and Cukurca/Hakkari. Those actions are;
On 15 September at 14:00 hour, our guerrillas carried out an action against a military convoy belong to the occupier Turkish state army on the road of Hakkari-Cukurca. As a result, while 1 Hedgehog type armored military vehicle destroyed, 1 Reo and 1 Mount-Deer type military vehicles damaged. Also, 12 enemy soldiers killed and 5 others wounded by our guerrillas. Aftermath of the action, the occupier Turkish state army launched a military operation in the area, under the air support of cobra type helicopters.
On 15 September at around 23:30 hour, intensive clashes occurred as a result of a retaliation of our guerrillas against the enemy operational forces belongs to the occupier Turkish state army, who launched a military operation on the Plateau of Ewliya/Semdinli. Our guerrillas did not let enemy forces to march despite the enemy’s obus and mortar bombardments until morning hours, and beside these enemy war-planes air-bombardments on the areas of Goste, Kure Mizgefte and the Valley of Hacibeg River. As a result of these intensive clashes, it has been clarified that at least 4 enemy soldiers killed and number of wounded enemy soldiers couldn’t be able to clarify. Also, 2 of our guerrillas martyred in these clashes. We will share the I.D. details of our martyred comrades with the public as we receive details.
On 16 September, our guerrillas carried out two separate actions against enemy forces. The first action carried out against one of the security Hill of the Gare Regiment and, the second action carried out against the enemy forces positioned on the Hill of Salara. As a result of these actions, 1 enemy soldier on the Hill of Salara and 1 other on the Security Hill of Regiment, total of 2 enemy soldiers killed by our guerrillas.
On 16 September in between 08:00-18:00 hours, our guerrillas carried out a road control on the road of Yuksekova-Oramar, in the area of Geliye Doski. While our guerrillas control the I.D.s, also inform the people of 300 about the latest developments.
One sikorsky type helicopter, which was attempting air-land enemy forces on the area in between the Villages of Kole and Tuye, after our guerrilla’s Fedaiin action against the Haruna military station in between the districts of Semdinli and Yuksekova, on 14 September, has been hit and heavily damaged by our guerrillas. The heavily damaged helicopter has had to fly away. As a result of this action, our guerrillas also confiscated 1 Kalashnikov type weapon belong to enemy as well.
2-On 16 September at 09:45 hour, our guerrillas carried out an action on the Road of Bingol-Erzurum, within the scope of The Martyrs Harun, Armanc and Ronahi Revolutionary Operation began on 14 September.
Our guerrillas carried out an action against an enemy military convoy consist of 3 armored vehicles and 2 buses, nearby the Village of Hacilar/Karliova. During the action, our guerrillas targeted the one bus, which was carrying the special operational policemen returning from a operation of a political genocide in the Karliova. As a result of this action, while 1 bus destroyed, 1 bus and 1 armored vehicle greatly damaged. Also, a total of 10 policemen killed and 19 others wounded.
Aftermath of the action, the occupier Turkish state army opened fire on the surrounding area with no aim. And, as a result 1 civilian Kurdish national has been wounded by enemy forces. The road has been closed to the traffic until 14:00 hour. The occupier Turkish state army launched a military operation in the areas of Serefdin, Haciyan and the surrounding area of the Village of Hacilar. The operation partially pulled back at 17:00 hour on the same day. Yet, hidden enemy units still continues their operation in terms of search and ambushes.
3-On 16 September at around 17:30 hour, our guerrillas carried an action against enemy forces present in the area of Gire Cotyar/Mnt. Gabar/Sirnak. As a result, while 2 guard cabins destroyed, a total of 5 enemy soldiers killed. Aftermath of the action, the occupier Turkish state army carried out obus and mortar bombardments on the surrounding area with no aim.
4-In the morning hours of 17 September, the cobra type helicopters belongs to the occupier Turkish state army carried out bombardments on the areas of Agacpinar and Mankurek, in the district of Ovacik/Dersim. As a result of these bombardments a bush-fire began in the area, which still continues.
