TO THE PRESS AND PUBLIC
1-On 22 November at 15:00 hour, our guerrillas carried out an action against an enemy sikorsky type helicopter, while flying from the area of Osyan to Sirnak. As a result of action, the helicopter has been hit and damaged, and flew away from the area.
2-As we have announced to the press and public that there has been military operations launched by the occupier Turkish state army and 3 days long clashes occurred in the rural areas of the district of Semdinli/Hakkari, on 16 November. As a result, 38 enemy soldiers killed and 1 sikorsky type helicopter hit and destroyed by our guerrillas. Again we also stated that 2 of our comrades have martyred and 3 of our comrades’ whereabouts is unknown.
After the searches, while 2 of our comrades, who have been cut off from their units, have been clarified they have been martyred. The third comrade has been reached to his unit alive.
