TO THE PRESS AND PUBLIC
1-Our guerrillas carried out a synchronous action on two different enemy’s military stations, within the scope of the control and sovereignty of our guerrillas on the areas of Semdinli-Yuksekova-Cukurca/Hakkari.
On 29 September at 12:30 hour, our guerrillas carried out actions on both enemy’s Sere Seve Regiment and the Siker Military Base in the district of Cukurca. The targets have been hit effectively by our guerrilla forces. While the number of killed and wounded enemy soldiers couldn’t be able to clarify in the Sere Seve Regiment, it has been eye witnessed that at least 1 enemy soldier killed at the Siker military Base. Aftermath of both actions, enemy forces carried away the corpses of killed and wounded soldiers with sikorsky type helicopters. Also, the occupier Turkish state army carried out obus and mortar bombardments on the surrounding area of both the Regiment and military base, as well as the area of Ciyaye Res, with no aim.
The military operation launched in the area of Geliye Zap/Cukurca, by the occupier Turkish state army, on 27 September, still continues under intensive enemy bombardments. On 29 September in between 05:00-17:00 hours, the cobra type helicopters, obus and mortar bombardments carried out on all most all the areas in the Geliye Zap region, with no aim. As a result of these bombardments, many life-stocks, gardens and grape-yards greatly damaged which belong to the many Villages in the area.
The occupier Turkish state army also carried out bombardments on the areas in between the districts of Yuksekova and Semdinli, as well.
On 29 September in between 11:30-12:30 and 21:30-22:30 hours, the enemy war-planes carried out air-bombardments on the Mnt. Carcela and the area of Mergezere. On the same day, the same areas also bombarded with cobra type helicopters, in between 22:30-23:00 hour. And, the same areas also continuously bombarded with obus and mortars, until the morning of 30 September.
On 29 September in between 17:00-18:00 hour, the occupier Turkish state army carried out obus and mortar bombardments on the areas of Hope, Merge and Sirwan/Semdinli.
The areas of the Hill of Genis, Konserve and Sikere Spi also have been bombarded with obus and mortars, on the same day in between 15:00-19:00 hours.
