Turkish state army have started to carry out a military operation in the area of Sehit Xebat, which is in between the provinces of Yedisu and Kigi, on the 24th October, 2009. After the intense bombardment of the Cobra type helicopters military operation have started in the area of Sehit Xebat and widened towards the provinces of Yedisu, Adakli and Kigi in Bingol. As a result of this military operation, on the night of 26th October,clashes occurred between the our guerilla forces and the Turkish army in the area of Bandoz/Yedisu. As a result of this clashes 5 guerillas have been martered after heroic confrontation.
The name of the martered guerillas are as follows: Bager (Erdal Yıldızöz), Çiya (Ziyaddin Çayır), Hamza (Hamza Yüce), Necmi (Muhammed Osman), and Şervan (Şerafet Adşimet). The military operation is still continuing.
The details of the martered guerrillas are as follow:
Hamza DERIK: Comrade Hamza have borned in Derik/Mardin and he is coming from a patriotic family. He met with the realities of the struggle in his early ages and worked continuesly. He participated to the guerrilla in order to give answer against the onternational complo against our leader . During his guerilla life, he stayed in the areas of Botan, Amed, Erzurum and Kandil areas. Both in practice, education activities he has known by his comrades as a mature, cumulative and self-sacrificing comrade whome very much liked by his comrades. He committed his life to his leader and his country.

Necmi XABUR: Comrade Necmi borned in the city of Aleppo in South-West of Kurdistan. He was coming from a patriotic family, who knowing about the struggle long before his participation. His participation came aftermath of the international complo against our leader in order to give back a strong answer to this. Comrade Necmi participated to the activities very actively. Yet, he thought the activities that he is doing will not enough to free his leader and as a result he decided to participate to the guerrilla forces in the year of 2001. Comrade Necmi was very active and lively in both the practical work and activities during in his 8 years of guerilla life. In his guerrilla life he represented as a stand of worrier of his leader and his people.

Bager ANDOK: Comrade Bager have borned in Silvan/Amed on the year of 1986. He is a member of a patriotic family who is houses have been burnt, faced oppression and force evacuations. He decided to participate to the guerrilla forces after saying that the decision of the 1st of July is a better way to answer the period. During the practical activities, he always stand as a comrade who can be taken as an example and was a symbol of the commitment to his leader, people and the comrades.

He also, like his comrade Bager, joined the guerrilla forces after the decision of 1st of July. During his practical activities, he always participated with moral and enthusiasticly. He, once more, showed us, how much he committed himself to his leader,people and his comrades.

Serwan PARTIZAN: Comrade Servan have borned in 1990 in Silvan/Amed, and participated to the guerilla forces because he believed and said that the best way to answer back to the isolation and annihilation policies against our leader is to participate to the guerrilla. Despite his guerrilla life was short, altruistic, enthusiastic, intelligent and agile stand he became unforgottable for his comrades and became an example for thousands of young militants.

The Central Commandment of the HPG made a statement to commemorate the martered comrades Hamza, Necmi, Bager, Ciya and Servan. In the statement, said: “ As a members of the HPG, we will be following our martered comrades on the Self Defence Line of our struggle, whose aspiration to struggle for the freedom of APO and the Kurdistan. We, again, promise to continue the struggle to the end”.
