Mesut Eren opened his eyes to the world in Sirnak, Botan, which is identified with Kurdistan's tradition of resistance.
At a young age he experienced the ruthlessness of the Turkish state's policies toward Kurdish youth, because in the state's assimilation schools he witnessed hostility toward the mother tongue. This situation formed the basis of Mehmet's first contradiction and first search. Mehmet, a member of the Xarumer tribe, experienced at a young age the Turkish state's oppressive policies over Kurdish youth, and this affected him deeply. As the days passed, Mehmet could no longer tolerate the pressure on his people and the existing oppression. For this reason, in 2013 he decided to stand against these policies and joined the ranks of the Freedom Movement.
His participation in the Freedom Movement played an important role in guiding young people in the same situation, and Mehmet was very conscious of this. Taking the name Ferman in the Freedom Movement, Mehmet made an intense effort to deepen himself in Leader Apo's philosophy.
The First Step on the Path to Becoming a Victory Guerrilla
Ferman, who joined the Freedom Movement in 2013, now takes his first step for the four parts of Kurdistan. He understands that the way to lead the national consciousness created in the Kurdish people first requires reaching that level of consciousness himself. Guerrilla Ferman, who does not accept the massacres against the Kurdish people, turns toward the Rojava revolution and there becomes part of the great resistance shown against the ISIS gangs that spread fear among humanity. After fulfilling his responsibilities toward the peoples in Rojava to a significant degree, he turns toward the free mountains.
Guerrilla Ferman joined the Special Forces, the lodge of the Zilans, in 2017 in order to understand Leader Apo's philosophy more deeply and to display a self-sacrificing stance on the Zilan line. Day by day Ferman reads Leader Apo more, listens more, and tries to understand more, because he is aware that Leader Apo's philosophy will be a new source of strength for his personality and struggle. Ferman always concentrates deeply in order to create victory guerrillaism in his own personality and prepares the ground in his personality on the path to becoming a leading commander in the Kurdistan revolution.
The Leading Commander Who Became a Star from Xakurkê to Zap
Guerrilla Ferman becomes a leader to his comrades with his modest and spirited approach. For this reason, whatever area he is in, he always takes his leaders, that is, his heroic martyrs, as his basis. Guerrilla Ferman always considers the development of his comrades a duty and therefore gives importance to his own education and that of his comrades. In 2022 the Turkish state launched a new occupation attack on the mountains of Kurdistan in order to make the free Kurd, the free human being, surrender; this time its targets were the Medya Defense Areas. Just as Ferman had been a leader to his comrades in life, he also took his place at the very front to stand against these occupation attacks. The Turkish state mobilized all its means for this war, but when it could not achieve results, it raised its savage attacks to a higher level and used chemical weapons against the guerrillas. The guerrillas, whose hearts are as great as mountains, developed effective moves against the techniques used by the Turkish state for free life, disregarding hardships. In 2022, in the “Bazên Zagrosê” offensive, guerrilla Ferman, a leading commander, struck heavy blows against the enemy with his actions. Commander Ferman advanced on the occupiers' positions with a great feeling of hatred, anger, and revenge.
In many war tunnels and positions, a relentless struggle is waged. Being able to withstand difficulties and hardships hundreds of times beyond what a human being can bear once again reveals that the Apocu self-sacrificing guerrillas are the pride of all humanity. While a person can feel unbearable pain even when a splinter pierces a hand, the guerrillas' endurance of such harsh conditions proves that all humanity is indebted to them. Guerrilla Ferman is one of these guerrillas. Like his comrades, he also struck heavy blows against the enemy in the Martyr Xursi resistance tunnel. The Turkish state used chemical weapons against the guerrillas to break the resistance shown in the Martyr Xursi tunnel under guerrilla Ferman's leadership. As a result of these attacks, they joined the caravan of the immortals together with their comrades. With the actions he carried out on December 27, 2022, guerrilla Ferman wrote his name into the History of Kurdistan Freedom and left behind an unforgettable epic of struggle.
