On December 12, at 19.30, a F-16 warplane of the Turkish state which had taken off from the Amed 8th Main Jet Base Command to bombard Kurdistan was downed with special techniques by our Martyr Azad Farqin unit.
Our guerrilla unit carried out this action to commemorate Commander Azad Farqin and all other guerillas that have fallen as martyrs in Amed. Our unit safely returned to its base after the successful action.
