The operation that the Turkish army launched on March 25th in Hakkari's Çarçella area on the border line of Gever (Yüksekova) district is ongoing. Our forces carried out an assassination action on March 26, at 07.30 am on soldiers positioned at the top of Bayê hill and one soldier was wounded here.

On March 26, at 11:30 am, while the Sikorsy-type helicopter of the Turkish army attempted to land on the Bayê hill, our forces shot the helicopter with heavy weapons and the helicopter retreated before it could land. Shortly thereafter, the Sikorsy helicopter, which attempted setdown again, was shot and two soldiers were killed here.

Again, on March 26 at 14.30, soldiers trying to make positions at the top of Bayê Hill were shot with heavy and individual weapons. Here, the number of dead and wounded soldiers could not be clarified.

We announced that a comrade of ours fell as martyr in the clashes on March 25th. One guerrilla was also wounded in the clashes which took place. Despite all the interventions done, our wounded guerrilla has fell as martyr.
