Within the scope of the Martyr Bager and Martyr Ronya Revolutionary Campaign, our guerrilla forces continue their actions in response to occupation attacks.

The Turkish invasion army which attempts to occupy the South Kurdistan territory and guerrilla zones, has suffered heavy blows as a result of effective actions carried out by our forces on May 29.

The details of the actions as follows;

A series of actions were carried out against Turkish army units seeking to advance towards Martyr Şahan hill in Xakurke region at 9.00, 13.00 and 14.00 o’clock. Four soldiers were killed, one other injured as a result of the action, after which the Turkish army carried away the dead and wounded soldiers from the area with helicopters. 

At 11.00, a Turkish army unit attempting to get deployed at Martyr Botan hill was targeted by our guerrillas. Five soldiers were killed and two others injured who were then moved away from the area with helicopters.

Another action against a Turkish unit took place at 14.30 Lêlîkan hill. While guerillas hit the positions and shelters of the Turkish forces here, the number of dead and injured could not be determined.

Our guerrillas carried out another action in the Northern Kurdistan province of Hakkari. Our forces hit the Şovê outpost in Esendere town in Yüksekova district, as a result of which two soldiers were killed at 04:15. 

In Çukurca district of Hakkari, our guerrillas targeted Turkish units positioned on Xeregol hill where effective strikes left 5 soldiers dead.

 Following the action, the Turkish army shelled the area with howitzer and mortar fire at random, causing a forest fire broke out.

 On May 28, our guerrilla Rêbaz Mahabat (Reşit Hasan Nejad) fell a martyr in the Turkish air raid against the Şêxzade area in Xakurke region.

Rebaz – Reşit Hasan Nejad

 Our comrade Rebaz was born in the town of Mahabad of Eastern Kurdistan in 1988, and has joined the Kurdistan Freedom Movement in 2015. Comrade Rebaz, revolting against the enemy's oppression on the Kurdish people, has been devoted to the ranks of the struggle from the moment he joined. Comrade Rebaz has shown great effort and labour in order to protect the existence and freedom of the Kurdish people until his very last moments, and has inflicted heavy blows against the enemy in the resistance period. We express our condolences to foremost the family of our comrade, and to the patriotic people of Kurdistan. We give the promise of carrying the resistance flag of our comrade to victory.

 In order to portray the invasion operation successfully, the invading Turkish army provides false information to the public through the special war media. Confronted with the effective resistance of the guerrilla, the invaders conceal their losses by hiding their failure with the news that a large number of guerillas were martyred, trying to mislead the public with false victory claims. From the start of the operation, there have been no guerrilla losses except our comrade Rebaz, and the number of dead enemy soldiers that could only be detected in the Xakurke region was 9. The patriotic people of Kurdistan and the democratic public should know that the Kurdistan Freedom Guerrilla, in line with its mission and duty, resists against all attacks, no matter where they come from, and renders the colonial invasion attacks ineffective. It is clear that the Kurdistan Freedom Guerrilla, which, in particular, fights in the memory of our heroic martyrs, who fights with the free life ideology of our Leader and the strength from our people, will act with the awareness of fulfilling its historic mission in the face of any wave of attacks that will develop in the future.
