TO THE PRESS AND PUBLIC
1-The most of the enemy operation forces, where the operation launched on Hakis, Hingirvan, the Hillsides of Dokuzkaya and the Valley of Harcik/Dersim central by the occupier Turkish state army on 16 August, have been pulled back on 19 August at 19:00 hour. Yet, enemy hidden units still continue to search and ambushes in the areas of operation.
2-On 17 August at around 22:20 hour, our guerrillas carried out an action on a check-point of a Policemen in the district of Edremit/Van. As a result, 1 policeman killed.
3-On 18 August at around 15:30 hour, our guerrillas carried out an action against a enemy’s Xirabe Ale military station in the district of Nusaybin/Mardin. As a result, 1 enemy soldier killed.
4-On 18 August at around 22:20 hour, our guerrillas carried out actions on both Sirnak Police HQ and Cakirsu enemy Brigade. As a result, sentry cabin of the Police HQ has been destroyed and 3 policemen killed by our guerrillas. In the second action, the building of the enemy Building has been damaged and the number of killed and wounded enemy here couldn’t be able to clerified.
Aftermath of the action, in the morning hours of 19 August at 14:00 hour, clashes occurred in between our guerrillas and enemy soldiers, who moved to keep the Gates of Beroje. While the number of killed and wounded enemy couldn’t be able to clerified, enemy cobra type helicopters had to repulse from the area after our guerrillas open fire on them. Also in a different action carried out by our guerrillas against a other enemy soldiers at 16:00 hour, who moved to keep the gates of Meydane, 8 enemy soldiers killed. Enemy forces carried away their corpses of killed and wounded soldiers with 4 sikorsky type helicopters under the support of cobra type helicopters.
5-On 19 August in between 11:30-13:30 hours, our guerrillas carried a Road control on the Road in between the district of Islahiye and Hinzir Plateau/Antep. While our guerrillas controlled the I.D. of the travellers, they also informed the people about latest developments and celebrate the people’s Ramadan festivity.
6-Our guerrillas’ control on the Semdinli-Yuksekova Line/Hakkari still continues. The developments in the areas under the control of our guerrillas on 18-19 August are as follow:
The enemy military operation, which began in the area of Geliye Doski on 18 August, continues and extends to the area of Sertel. Within the scope of this enemy operation, on 19 August at 08:00 hour, our guerrillas carried out an action on the enemy operational forces, which moved from the Hill of Glord towards the areas of Serengil and Memiska. As a result, 1 enemy soldier killed. Enemy carried away the corps of its killed soldier with a sikorsky type helicopter.
On 19 August at around 19:00 hour, our guerrilas carried out an action against the Dure military station/Semdinli. While,the sentry cabin, the entrance of the military station and position of the enemy soldiers have been hit effectively by our guerrillas, the building of the military station left in flames. As a result, 1 enemy soldier killed.
While the occupier Turkish state army continuing its air and cannon bombardments, on 19 August in between 16:00-17:00 hours, the enemy war-planes carried out air-bombardments on the Mnt. Carcela. Also, in between 17:00-22:00 hours, carried out obus and mortar bombardments on the same Mountain. Again, enemy forces continuesly carried out bombardments with obus and mortars on the areas of Goste, Gare, the areas of masiro, the Valleys of Nirkola and the River of Hacibeg, from 19 August at 17:30 hour to morning hours.

7-On 18 August, clashes occurred in between two units of enemy soldiers, who launched a military operation in the area in between the Villages of Guanuse and Bilbese/Beytussebap/Sirnak. As a result, 2 enemy soldiers killed.
