TO THE PRESS AND PUBLIC
1-On 20 August, the president of the Hakkari Village-guards Association and head of the Village-guard in the region of Silehe, Sadi Ozatak, who played a role in martry of many of our comrades, has been arrested by our guerrillas. Also, a suspicious person with him, Musa Temel, detained as well.
2-On 20 August at 11:00 hour, a clash occurred in between our guerrillas and the enemy forces as a result of a military operation launched by enemy in the areas of Meydane and Beroje/Sirnak central. The number of killed and wounded enemy soldiers couldn’t be able to clerified.
3-The occupier Turkish state army carried out obus and mortar bombardments on the Valley of Nirkola, Goste, Gomake, Masiro, Gare and the Hill of Genis/Semdinli/Hakkari, in between 20 August at 16:00 and 21 August 04:30 hours.
4-On 20 August in between 15:00-16:00 hours, war-planes belongs to the occupier Turkish state army carried out air-bombardments on the area of Mergezere/Yuksekova/Hakkari. Enemy forces also carried out obus and mortar bombardments on the same area on the same day in between 21:00-22:00 hours as well.
