TO THE PRESS AND PUBLIC
1. On 24th of July, 2010, in between 08:00-09:00 hours, the Turkish state army bombarded the areas of Avasin and Dola Note/Zagros/the Medya Defence Areas, with obus and mortars. As a result of this bombardment a fire began in the area, which still continues.
2. In the afternoon of 23rd of July, 2010, the war-planes belongs to the Turkish state army flew low over the villages of Sute and Mambene, and the Hill of Hesere. As a result of our effective air defence battallions, the enemy planes couldn't have the air-raid and returned to their bases after a while.
3. On 22nd of July, 2010, at around 21:00 hours, our guerrillas carried an action against a building in the Third Commando Brigate in Siirt, where the special sergeants trainning held. This action carried out by the Sehit Erdal Action Team and as a result, as it could be clerified, two (2) enemy soldiers killed. Also, the buildings have been burnt and destroyed by our guerrillas. After the action, the Turkish state army forbid the entries to the area of action. In the morning of 23rd of July, the Turkish state army launched a military operation against the areas of Kutros and Xetere. The operation pulled back at the same at night hours.
4. On 19th of July, 2010, the Turkish state army launched a military operation in the area of Xerxol and the Hill of Gezinge/Garisa/Siirt. The operation pulled back on 20th of July with no results.
5. We have had already given out the action taken by our guerrillas in Xantepe/Cukurca/Hakkari on 20th of July, 2010, where 35 enemy soldiers have been killed and military materials confiscated. As a result of a clash occurred in between our guerrillas and enemy forces, whome launched a military operation on 21st of July, 2010, two (2) of our guerrillas named Piling (Ilyas Kaplan) and Rojbin (Celila Xelo) have been martered as a result of intensive military technic used by the enemy.
