TO THE PRESS AND PUBLIC

1. On 25th of July, 2010, the Turkish state army launced a military operation in the areas of Kevire Ker, Heci Vadisi and the village of Exte. The operation still continues.

2. The Turkish state army bombarding the areas of Erbis, Ertus and Kucuk Gare/Zap/the Medya Defence Areas since 25th of July, 2010, with obus and mortars.

3. On 24th of July, 2010, at 22:00 hours, our guerrillas carried an action against the policeman, whome were securing the building of the AKP. As a result of this action, one (1) police killed and one (1) police wounded by our guerrillas.

Afterwards of the action, a short time clash occurred in between our guerrillas and the enemy forces who came for a support with panzer. After this clash, our guerrillas pulled back to their bases with no casuality.

4. On 25th of July, 2010, the Turkish state army launched a military operation in the area of Erbis/Cukurca/Hakkari. The operation still continues.

5. On 22nd of July, 2010, at 22:00 hours, an action carried out against a 4 policeman (2 of them were civil police) in a vehicle by our Sehit Andok Action Team. As a result of this action, one (1) police killed and three (3) others wounded. After the action, the area of the action sealed off and entries to the area forbidden by the security forces, and some villagers from surrounding villages have been taken to the custody. In the morning of 23rd of July, 2010, a military operation launched against the villages of Xirbe Miripka, Kevsenor, Xirbe Bellik, Mermere, Berte and Metina. The operation still continues with the ambush and search of the hidden units belongs to the enemy.
