1. Within the scope of the Martyr Bedran Gundikremo and Martyr Nalin Muş revolutionary campaign, our forces carried out actions against the occupying Turkish army in Hakkari's Şemzinan (Şemdinli) district.
On August 13, at 5:20, our forces carried out an action against Çemêkurkê outpost in Şemzinan. The number of dead and wounded enemy soldiers could not be determined in the action where enemy positions were effectively shot. After the action, the occupying Turkish army bombarded the area with howitzers and mortars.
On August 14, at 16.30, our forces targeted a unit of the occupying Turkish army near Haruna hill in Şemzinan district. Two soldiers were killed from the enemy unit as a result of the shots fired at close range. After the action, the occupying Turkish army, which indiscriminately bombed the area with heavy weapons, removed dead and wounded soldiers from the area with a Sikorsky type helicopter around 20:00.
On August 14, at 15.45, our forces organized an action against the occupying forces positioned on the Ronahi hill in Şemzinan. The number of dead and wounded soldiers could not be determined in the action.
2. Within the last four days, the occupying Turkish army is positioning its disguised units in the Sêmala, Bêtkarok, Martyr Axin, Koordine, Xuro, Soranser and Dola Bêrmeşa areas of the Şemzînan district of Hakkari. Enemy forces, who are practising ambush action in the neighborhoods of Şapatan, Bêtto, Êlde and Meydan, declared a curfew in the area for one week.
Lastly, on August 14, at around 17:30, these disguised units planted mines between houses in the Betto neighbourhoods of Şapatan area of Hakkari's Şemzînan district and then detonated these mines. With the impact of the explosion, the vineyards and gardens belonging to the people in the vicinity were damaged. Our people should not fall into the trap of these games of the occupying Turkish army with dirty plans to put against the people and the guerrilla. This event has no connection with our forces and is a provocation made by the invading forces.
3. Within the scope of the Martyr Azad Farqin and Martyr Jinda Özgür revolutionary campaign, our YJA Star forces carried out an action against the enemy soldiers gathered at the garden of the Sheikh Cuma outpost in Bitlis province at August 14, 18.00 hours. The number of dead and wounded enemy soldiers in this action could not be clarified.
4. On August 12, 19.00, the occupying Turkish army launched an operation in the Martyr Kawa area of Amed's Farqin (Silvan) district. Cobra-type attack helicopters bombarded the area within the operation.
On August 12, the occupying Turkish army launched an operation in the area of the villages of Metmur, Derik, Beşiştê and Herpeknê in Amed's Lice distrct. The enemy forces which put on fire the field in the operation withdrew from the area inconclusively in the evening hours on August 13.
5. The occupying Turkish army launched an operation in the Milan mountain of Erzincan province on August 11. The enemy forces which carried out setdowns in the area with Sikorsy-type helicopters on the morning of the same day withdrew from the area inconclusively on August 13.
