TO THE PRESS AND PUBLIC

1. On 8^th of July, 2010, in between 17:00-18:00 hours, the Turkish state army bombarded the areas of Seytan Kayasi, the Hills of Kartal and Sehit Firat, the village of Kiye and the Avasin-Basya/Zagros/the Medya Defence Areas, with obus and mortars. Afire has been started in those areas, which is still continuing.

2. On 8^th of July, 2010, at around 06:00 hours, the Turkish state army launched a military operation targeting to find and destroy our Guerrilla Forces in the rural areas of the village of Metina/Omerli/Mardin. Yet, our Sehit Zana Revenge Team carried an action against one of the wings of these operational enemy forces. And, as a result, three (3) enemy soldiers killed. The military operation of the enemy forces still continues in the areas of the village of Metina, Xani Sore, Zine, Berfe and Gole.

3. On 8^th of July, 2010, at around 19:00 hours, our Guerrilla Forces carried an action against the enemy forces belongs to the Turkish state army placed on the Hill of Dogan in the area of Bilika/Cudi. The action carried out with heavy weapons and as a result two enemy positions and a tenth have been destroyed. Yet, we couldn’t be able to clarified the numbers of enemy soldiers killed and/or wounded. After the action, the Turkish state army bombarded the area of action with no aim, with obus and mortars. The fire, which began in the area as a result of the bombardment is still continuing.

4. On 7^th of July, 2010, a child has been wounded as a result of a land mine land mine in the mountainous area of the village of Cercikaya/Belen/Hatay. Our Guerrilla Forces have nothing to do with this case. This land mine has been placed by the Turkish state army who do not care about the life of civilian population and then try to blame our forces by propaganda mechanism of the their special warfare units. Our people should be sensitive towards this kind of black propagandas.

5. On 5^th of July, 2010, as a result of action carried out by our Guerrilla Forces against the enemy positions on the Hill of Bedeve/Semdinli/Hakkari, our following guerrillas reached to their testimony after a brave resistance: Melsa (Leyla Sexe), Ronahi (Mulkiye Cetin), Lales (Muhammed Ibrahim) and Harun (Mehmet Urun).
