MILITARY OPERATIONS IN BINGOL AND HAKKARI

TO THE PRESS AND PUBLIC

1. In the morning hours of 7^th of July, 2010, the Turkish state army launched a military operation in the area of Geliye Dize/Hakkari. The operation ended the same night with no result.

2. The military operation launched by the Turkish state army on 4^th of July, 2010, in the areas of Xodan, Xeyt, Desta Amman and Xalan/Genc/Bingol, still continues.

3. On 5^th of July, 2010, after our Guerrilla Forces carried an action against the enemy soldiers’ positions on the Hill of Bedeve/Semdinli/Hakkari, our following guerrillas have been martered after brave resistance; Cudi (Lezgin Ali Haci), Diyar (Nurettin Tas), Murat (Mahmut Becenek) and Dilges (Idris Sezgin).

4. As a result of an action carried out by our Guerrilla Forces against Basnik army station in Silvan/Amed, following our Guerrillas reached to testimony after bravely resist. Our Guerrillas martered as a result of clashes are; Hogir (Muhammed Cemal) and Piro (Riza Guven).
