TO THE PRESS AND PUBLIC

For a while now, the hidden units belongs to the occupier Turkish state army have been carrying out ambushes in the surrounding areas of the tents of Sheppards and Sahyolu, in the area of Cemce/Kagizman/Kars.

In a continuing military operation in the district of Tatvan/Bitlis, which has been launched on 6 July, a clash occurred in between our guerrillas and enemy soldiers on 9 July. As a result, 1 enemy soldier killed and 1 other wounded by our guerrillas. Aftermath of the clashes, while the area have been intensively bombarded,the military operation expanded on the areas of Sakiri and Setranus. The military operation is still continues.

On 8 July at around 15:30 hour, clashes occurred in between our guerrillas and operational enemy forces nearby the Teperrizzi/Dogubeyazid/Agri. The clashes continued until 19:30 hour on the same day and, as a result 4 enemy soldiers killed and, 3 of our guerrillas reached to martry after brave resistance. Also, the area have been intensively bombarded by the enemy cobra type helicopters.

On 9 July in between 14:00-14:30 hours, the war-planes belongs to the occupier Turkish state army carried out air-raids on the Mnt. Govende, in the district of Semdinli/Hakkari.

On 9 July in between 18:00-21:00 hours, the war-planes belongs to the occupier Turkish state army carried out air-raids on the surrounding area of the Hill of Geper/Oramar/Gever/Hakkari. On the same day, enemy forces also carried out obus and mortar attacks on the same areas, until 23:00 hour.

On 8 July at around 20:00 hour, clashes occurred in between our guerrillas and operational enemy forces in the area of Oramar, in the district of Gever/Hakkari. As a result, 3 enemy soldiers killed by our guerrillas.

On 9 July in between 02:00-03:30 and 13:30-14:00 hours, the war-planes belongs to Turkish state army carried out air-raids on the surrounding areas of the Village of Erdewe/Zagros/the Medya Defence Areas.

On 8 July in between 16:00-17:00 hours, the occupier forces of the Turkish state army carried out obus and mortar attacks on the Hill of Kartal, the Villages of Gire and Erdewe, and Dola Konferansa. As a result of this bombardments, bush fire began in the area, which is stillcontinues.

On 9 July in between 11:00-20:00 hours, our YJA-Star guerrilla forces carried out a Road Blockage action on the Road of Oramar-Gever. While our guerrillas informing the people about latest political developments, also checked-up the I.D.s of the travelers as well.

The occupier forces of the Turkish state army carried out obus and mortar attacks on the area of Deriye Dawetiye/Uludere/Sirnak, on 9 July from 21:30 until 10 July at 04:00 hour.

On 9 July at around 05:30 hour, clashes occurred in between our YJA-Star guerrilla forces and operational enemy forces in the surrounding area of enemy Military Brigade of Bilican/Cukurca/Hakkari. As a result, 1 enemy soldier killed and 2 others wounded.

On 9 July at 03:00 hour and at 15:00 hour, the war-planes belongs to the occupier Turkish state army carried out air-raids on the areas of Sehit Mazlum, Geliye Feqira and surrounding area of Zap River/Zap/the Medya Defence Areas.

Four workers, whome detained on 30 May by our guerrillas on the base that they were working on building a Rojnek military station/Dersim Central, have been released on 3 July after their questioning ended.

On 9 July at around 19:30 hour, our guerrillas detained a village guard name Necmettin Sen, from the Village of Semanis/Gurpinar/Van. He has been detained on the bases of him continuing working with enemy and being insisted to be a village guard despite several warnings made by our guerrillas. Yet, he has been released while later after he accepted all his crimes, his vehicle burnt and necessary warnings made again.

On 9 July in between 06:00-08:00 hours, the occupier forces of Turkish state army carried out obus and mortar attacks on the Villages of Sifreza, Hilale and Cenete/Zap/Seladize/the Medya Defence Areas. As a result, a bush-fire began in the Villages,and still continues.
