1. The operation of invasion that the occupying Turkish army started in the Zap region of the Medya Defense Zones on June 16 at 21:30 at night is continuing with intensive clashes.
The development and details of the operation are as follows;
On June 17, around 04:30, the occupying Turkish army conducted intense bombardments on Küçük Cilo, Martry Munzur areas and Gijnê village, following the bombardment the occupying Turkish army wanted to enter the ridges of the Gijnê village and Qela Bêdewe area. In addition, the occupying Turkish army carried out setdowns with sikorsy-type helicopters on Qela Bêdewe area, and our forces carried out actions targeting the soldiers deployed on the Qela Bêdewe area on 6 different arms, where 20 enemy soldiers have been identified killed during these attacks.
Against the occupying Turkish army, who was trying to recover after the first attack, one of our guerrilla unit carried out an action targeting enemy soldiers at close range and three soldiers were killed. Simultaneously, our forces also targeted soldiers trying to deploy on the ridges of Gijnê. Two enemy soldiers have been identified killed and three soldiers have been wounded in the action.
On the same day, an enemy unit and a sikorsy-type helicopter, which was trying to intervene on the scene, were targeted by our forces. The sikorsy-type helicopter which was taken under fire by heavy weapons was damaged and forced to retreat from the area and one enemy soldier was killed. Later, sikorsy helicopters, which came to the area with the support of cobra-type helicopters, carried away dead and wounded soldiers from the area.
At 17.00, our forces targeted soldiers positioned on the ridges of the Gijnê a second time. In this attack, one soldier was killed and one soldier was wounded.
Our forces have once again targeted soldiers trying to position themselves in the Qela Bêdewe zone at 19.00 hours and have effectively struck close range.
Three enemy soldiers were killed and one soldier was injured. At 19.00, our forces carried out an action and hit effectively the enemy at the close range targeted soldiers trying to position themselves on the Qela Bêdewe area. Three enemy soldiers were killed and one soldier was wounded.
The occupying Turkish army carried out heavy bombardment on the whole area from morning until 22.00 at night. The enemy which bombed the area with howitzers and mortars, targeted Nêrvêh, Bêdê and Saca villages and Karker hill with warplanes. After the aerial attacks, partial fires broke out in the bombed areas, and our forces intervened in the burning areas by putting the fire out.
A total of 30 soldiers have been identified killed and 5 soldiers were wounded in the invasion operation launched by the occupying Turkish army.
Our comrade Mazlum Nusaybin, who fought with great courage to prevent the invasion operation which started in the evening of June 16, has reached martyrdom and one of our comrade was wounded during the operation.
As the results of the invasion occupation operation are clarified it will be shared with the public.
2. Within the scope of the Martyr Bedran Gundikremo and Martyr Nalin Muş revolutionary initiatives, our forces carried out a series of actions targeting the occupying Turkish army in Şemzinan (Şemdinli) and Çelê (Çukurca) districts of Hakkari.
On June 17, at 14, our YJA Star forces carried out an action against Zeytê outpost and its positions in Şemzinan district of Hakkari. The number of dead and wounded soldiers in this action could not been clarified.
On June 17, at 06.10, an enemy convoy consisting of armoured vehicles was targeted by our forces while on the move from Çelê district towards the centre of Hakkari. The number of dead and wounded soldiers in this action could not been clarified.
On June 16, at 15.40, our forces carried out an assassination action against a military unit near the Zavite outpost in Çele district of Hakkari. One enemy soldier was killed in the action.
On June 16, between 08.30 and 09.30 hours, our forces carried out an action against a unit of the occupying Turkish army deployed on the Çeperê Şêxa area of Hakkari's Çelê district. The number of dead and wounded soldiers in the action could not be clarified.
3. The individual named Necmettin Yilmaz, who was in in cooperation with the enemy and had reported the place and mode of movement of our guerrilla forces in Dersim, was punished on 16 June near Zaxge village of Dersim.
4. On 12 June, the occupying Turkish army launched an operation in Martyr Canxurt region of Siirt's Herekol area. One of our guerrillas fell as martyr during the conflict after fighting heroically.
