TO THE PRESS AND PUBLIC

1-On 22 June at 22:00 hour, clashes occurred in between our guerrillas and operational occupier forces of the Turkish state army nearby the Village of Siris/Uludere/Sirnak. As a result, 1 of our guerrilla have been martryed. Our forces couldn’t be able to clerify the number of killed and wounded enemy soldiers.

2-On 23 June at 18:00 hour, clashes occurred in between our guerrillas and soldiers of the occupier forces of the Yurkish state army nearby a military base in the district of Piran/Diyarbakir. As a result, 2 enemy soldiers killed, and the number of wounded soldiers couldn’t be able to clerified. Aftermath, enemy forces carried away the corpse and wounded soldiers with sikorsky type helicopters.

3-On 24 June at 18:00 hour, our guerrillas carried an action against enemy soldiers, who were working on a building of a new military station nearby the Hill of Rojnak/Dersim. As a result, 3 enemy soldiers killed and 2 others wounded. Aftermath, enemy soldier intensively bombarded and rapidly shooted surrounding area with different type of weapons and then in the night hours 26 June, they escaped from the area.

4-On 24 June at around 16:30 hour, 1 sikorsky type helicopter, which was carrying soldier and supplies to the soldiers in the operation, have been hit down by our YJA-Star guerrillas. Our forces couldn’t be able to clerify the number of enemy soldiers in the destroyed helicopter. Yet, as a result of a different clash occurred in this area 1 enemy soldier killed by our guerrilla forces as well. This action carried out for remembrance of comrade Zilan, who has been reached to martry on 30 June 1996, by our YJA-Star guerrillas.

5-On 25 June, the occupier forces of the Turkish state army launched a military operation in the area of the Village of Zengok and Mnt. Kozme/Mus. The operation pulled back in the night hours of 26 June.

6-On 26 June at around 07:45 hour, our guerrillas carried out an action against the Jendarmerie Stations in the district of Duzkoy/Trabzon. As a result, 1 enemy soldier killed and 3 others wounded.

7-On 26 June in between 23:00-24:00 hours, the war-planes belongs to the occupier force of the Turkish state army carried out air-raids on the areas of the Villages of Meredo and Kalatuka/Qandil/the Medya Defence Areas.
