TO THE PRESS AND PUBLIC
A soldier name, Ali sabanci, from Araban/Antep, have been detained by our guerrillas during one of routine Road and I.D. check-ups on the Road of Amed-Bingol, on 6 June. He has been released after our guerrillas finished questioning him. Ali Sabanci has been released last night after we found that he is a kurdish, who has been taken to army forcebly by the Turkish state, he did not carried out a crime against our people other than being a soldier, and taken into consideration of the calls made by various civil society organizations.
Once more, we call upon on the Kurdish youth not to become soldiers of the occupier force of the Turkish state army, and those serving their army duty to desert their ranks and participate to the fronts of the Guerrilla forces. The kurds in the occupier Turkish state army should not direct their weapons towards their Kurdish brothers, Guerrillas, instead they should direct them against the fascist force of the commanders.
We also call upon on the Turkish soldiers to surrender themselves to our guerrilla forces whenever they come up face to face with our guerrillas during the clashes, in order to continue their lifes.
