1. The occupying Turkish army, which accelerated once again the invasion of Kurdistan with spring, organized an operation against Amed's Apê Musa, Martyr Ferhat, Martyr Navdar, Martyr Rojhat and Martyr Kawa areas on May 28 with the participation of 15,000 soldiers and contras.
In the operations propagated as one of the most comprehensive and assertive operations of the last years, and those with all kinds of technical support, curfews were declared in many villages and neighbourhoods in Amed's Lice, Hazro, Karaz (Kocaköy), Piran (Dicle), Farqîn (Silvan), Hênê (Hani) and Pasur (Kulp) districts, and our civilian people were among the targets of the operation. Like the village of Zara, where the ban on the streets was not seen as sufficient, the villagers were totally forced to migrate and were removed from their villages.
On May 30, our guerrillas following the occupying forces who joined the operation from their base areas during the first two days of the operation, carried out a series of actions. On May 30, our forces who put the occupying enemy units in the Martyr Rojhat area under their surveillance, carried out an action on 15.00 hours. In the enemy positions which were hit in close range, 10 enemy soldiers were identified to have been killed, including one first lieutenant and contra, while many other soldiers were wounded. After this action, 6 sikorsy-type helicopters which came to the action area with the support of 4 cobra-type taaruz helicopters, carried away its dead and wounded from the area. The enemy which removed its dead and wounded from the area indiscriminately bombed the action area and surroundings with warplanes and cobra-type helicopters.
The same day, at 18.00, two enemy soldiers were killed in the second action which took place around the village of Şelê in the district of Hani, while four enemy soldiers were also wounded here. After this action, the occupying Turkish army which bombed the Şelê and Emanir areas with warplanes carried away its dead and wounded soldiers with sikorsy-type helicopters.
The occupying Turkish army, forced to retreat from the Martyr Rojhat area in the face of the blows inflicted by our forces, continues operations in the area from place to place.
2. On June 1, at 16.00 hours, our YJA Star forces carried out an action against the occupying Turkish army's Zıvıngê battalion on the Gabar mountain of Şırnak province. Two soldiers were indentifed to have been killed in the action where the building and positions located in the battalion were hit.
3. On June 1, at 11.00, our forces carried out an action against the positions of the occupying Turkish army located on the Koordine hill in the Çelê (Çukurca) district of Hakkari province. After the action where the number of dead and wounded soldiers could not be clarified, the occupying Turkish army has indiscriminately bombed the surroundings of the hill with howitzer and mortar shells.
4. On June 1, between 08.30 and 09.00, warplanes belonging to the occupying Turkish army bombed the Şukê territory of the Avaşin area from our Medya Defense Zones.
