Within the scope of the Martyr Delal Amed and Besta Martyrs Revolutionary Campaign, on August 31, at 10.30, our forces carried out a sabotage action against a convoy of the invading Turkish army consisting of armoured vehicles as it was moving in the Gırnavas road in the Pıraket neighbourhood of Mardin’s Nusaybin district.

An Ejder-type armoured vehicle targeted in the convoy has been completely destroyed, and two armoured vehicles were effectively struck. Five soldiers, three of which were specialised sergeants, were killed in the targeted vehicles. Seven enemy soldiers were also heavily wounded. Following the action, the invading Turkish army carried away dead and wounded soldiers from the area with many ambulances and armoured vehicles. The invading Turkish army has launched an operation in the area in the wake of the heavy blows inflicted by our forces.
