On December 14, the occupying Turkish army, from Hakkari's Şemzînan (Şemdinli) district launched an invasion operation covering the Hill Siro, Geliyêreş and Bermizê village areas in the town of Diana of Southern Kurdistan. Our forces have carried out actions against the operation of occupying forces. In this scope;

On January 1, at 16.00, our guerrilla forces carried out an action against the soldiers deployed on the Siro hill. The number of dead and wounded soldiers could not be determined in the action where enemy positions were hit in an effective manner.

On January 2, around 08:30, our forces carried out an action targeting the Mawa hill. The number of dead and wounded soldiers could not be determined in the action, in where enemy soldiers were taken under intense fire. Our forces targeted the soldiers on Mawa Hill for the second time at 16.00 on the same day. As a result of the effective hits, three soldiers were killed in the action.
