On December 14, the occupying Turkish army, from Hakkari's Şemzînan (Şemdinli) district launched an invasion operation covering the Hill Siro, Geliyêreş and Bermizê village areas in the town of Diana of Southern Kurdistan. Our forces have carried out actions against the operation of occupying forces.
On December 31, at 16.00, our guerrilla forces carried out an assassination action targeting a group of Turkish soldiers trying to position on the Koordine hill in the Geliyê Reş area. Two enemy soldiers were killed in the action and another one was injured. After the action, the occupying Turkish army bombarded the area with howitzers and mortars.
