The occupying Turkish army today launched an operation to occupy Southern Kurdistan via the Xeregol area of ​​Hakkari's Çelê (Çukurca) district. At 11.10 hours, our forces targeted a unit of the operation that was trying to move towards the Xeregol hill from the area of ​​Şelalê. Two soldiers were killed in the enemy unit, which was shot in an effective manner.

At the same hours, enemy troops in the area of ​​Şelalê were hit by our forces. A total of 10 soldiers were killed and 3 soldiers were wounded in two enemy units taken under fire from two arms in close range. In addition, some soldier funerals are under the control of our forces. During the conflicts, a drone type unmanned aerial vehicle that made a reconnaissance flight over the area was shot down by our forces.

The invading forces bombarded the area indiscriminately with tanks, howitzers and mortars after they suffered heavy blows. In addition, warplanes bombed Xeregol hill between 11.30 and 14.30. In the operation where air mobility continues, there are conflicts between our forces and the occupying Turkish army.
